Ultimate Scan Tool for VAG Vehicles – The AUTOPHIX 7610 is specifically engineered and tested for the Volkswagen/Audi Group’s unique systems. It delivers basic OBD2 functions (read/clear codes, live data) for most 1996+ vehicles, but its advanced VAG-specific features (all resets, full-system scans) are exclusively for supported VW, Audi, Skoda, and Seat gasoline/diesel models (up to 2023). ⚠️ Not for electric vehicles (BEVs) or coding/programming. Unsure? Contact us with your VIN for pre-purchase verification.
All-in-One VW Maintenance Solution – Stop the $200+ dealership trip. The 7610 performs comprehensive maintenance, with Battery Registration (BMS). After replacing the battery, you must register it to your vehicle’s computer. This ensures proper charging, prevents premature failure, and avoids electrical issues. Along with EPB reset, SAS calibration, oil light reset, TPMS reset, injector learning, brake pad reset, etc. it puts professional-level maintenance in your hands. Note: Performs resets/adaptations, not module coding.
Full-System Deep Scan for Accurate Diagnosis – Don’t just guess—pinpoint. Scan all major systems such as Engine, Transmission, ABS, SRS, ESP, Immobilizer, TPMS, and Battery Control Module, etc. Get detailed fault code definitions and live data to accurately identify issues, saving you time and money on repairs. NOTE: Get your car fixed before clearing the code.
Quick Read & Clear Codes, Turn Off Check Engine Light – Keep Your Engine in Check & Pass Emissions Tests. The scanner quickly reads and clears trouble codes (DTCs) from all systems. Instantly turn off the Check Engine Light and other warnings after repairs, and retrieve the vehicle’s I/M readiness status to ensure it’s prepared to pass smog or emissions tests—all essential for keeping your engine running at its best.
No Fees, Lifetime Updates & User-Friendly for All – Get unlimited access with no subscriptions or hidden costs, plus lifetime free software updates to keep your tool current. Designed for everyone, it features a clear 2.8-inch color screen and intuitive menus, making it ideal for DIYers or auto repair shops who value simplicity and reliability.

Performed as needed. Should have bought this sooner.
Did the job well. Could read airbag errors in detail. Extremely helpful.

Just what I needed
I purchased this meter because my 2010 audi Q5 start running ruff and shacking bad. After running i found cylinder 4 and 5 misfiring bad coil pack. Then the codes say bad rear door lock it was correct. I reset codes and reset oil change and maintain. I would not of thought I had two bad coil packs at a time, I would of been pulling out my hair trying to figure it out. Worth the money. Made real well.

AUTOPHIX 7610P+ Fit for VW Audi, Full System Diagnostic Tool, All Reset Service, Fit for Volk
An amazing item to have in your tool box.

Works with all other VAG cars but not specifically Porsche.
This would be an amazing scanner if they would open up the ability for use on Porsche vehicles. This claims to be compatible with other high end VAG brands like Lamborghini, Bently and Bugatti. Why then did they not include Porsche? I did connect this to my wife’s 718 and it does have some functionality on the Porsche. I was able to run detailed diagnostics on some systems. I think that it might be able to run the ABS system and register the battery too. At this point, I was not brave enough to try it, with everything on her car currently working perfectly. Our local Porsche dealership charges $395 an hour for labor, and our local independents charge $250-$275. Being able to change your own brakes and reset the sensor, or change your own oil and reset the maintenance message is huge. FWIW, this scanner has basic OBD II functionality and will work with probably any car with and OBD II port. I’m sure you can use it to reset an MIL and check emissions readiness status. As of yet, I have not upgraded to the latest firmware or used the scanner to livestream data while driving.

VW scanner
This scanner does a lot for our VW Tiguan! Scan codes, diagnostic, reset service reminders and tire pressure, etc.

This item does not work on Jetta Volkswagen 2024
This did not work for my Jetta Volkswagen 2024 for the electronic parking brake to be able to move the piston in and out. Even after disconnecting my gateway module it still did not communicate with the car whatsoever.

Works perfectly!
Purchased for a 2011 VW Jetta. I set off the airbag light when I was checking fuses. This unit did exactly as described and reset my airbag and light went off. Very easy to use and appears to be a sturdy / robust unit! Great for the price.

Good for VW Atlas
Easy to use on our VW Atlas. Readings came up straight away. Have not tried everything on it yet but it s simple to use and lightweight

Works very well for Volkswagen vehicles. Have not tried it on anything else. It has lots of information including trouble codes, and also some diagnostic tools. No Volkswagen owner should be without one.

I picked up this scanner because I wanted something that could handle more than just basic OBD2 stuff. Right out of the box, it felt like a solid tool and it’s clearly made with VAG vehicles in mind. I’ve used it on both Volkswagen and Audi and it worked perfectly with both. The full system scan is super helpful. It doesn’t just check the engine like some cheap readers I’ve tried before. It goes through everything like the transmission, ABS, airbags, and more. I had a stubborn ABS warning light that wouldn’t go away and this tool helped me track it down and clear the code after fixing it.What I really like is how much you can do with it in terms of maintenance. I’ve done an oil reset and battery registration with it and both were straightforward. It even helped me with ABS bleeding, which saved me a trip to the shop. If you like doing your own maintenance, this thing is a game changer. The advanced OBD2 functions are just the cherry on top. I used it recently to check for engine codes before a smog test and it made the whole process stress free. It shows everything clearly and even gives you a heads-up on I/M readiness.Overall, if you have a VW or Audi, this tool is seriously worth it. It’s saved me time and money and it’s just nice having something that actually understands these cars.

When I ordered this scanner, I didn’t realize it was made specifically for VW vehicles. Still, I tried it in my Dodge vehicles, and I was able to get troubleshooting codes using this scanner. The features are hit and miss on anything other than VWs and different makes and years may also affect what this scanner can or cannot read. Still, a very nice unit overall, and it’s powered by the vehicle’s battery. The display is well illuminated and easy to read, and the manual is quite extensive.

It took a bit to get an opportunity to use this on my friends Volkswagen, but it was worth the wait. The screen is very easy to navigate and find your way through it and the display is nice and large. It was able to detect and read all kinds of system metrics, like RPMs, temperatures, etc. You can also reset fault codes and reprogram for a new battery.Super simple to use and it just works.

This isn’t my first car scanner, I do have a very basic on in my 2024 Taos right now, but it doesn’t offer much in terms of information, and I wanted something that would give me more answers and information on issues I might have in the future. This scanner is as easy to use as any other scanners. It’s plug-and-play, and you only need to turn on the ignition and plug the scanner in to make it turn on.The options are easy to navigate, I do suggest reading the instructions before tho because there’s quite a few options available, but it’s easy to find status info, explanations for error codes, etc. and it seems to be reliable enough. My favorite feature has to be the function to erase error codes. It’s been a few times now that i’ve came back from the dealership after an oil change and the icon was still on my dash. I can now safely remove the icon or error message myself.I also love that it’s made specifically for VW cars, and I know that the info it gives is targeted towards my own car. Overall, this is such a great tool to keep in the glove box !
