Doesn’t support 2022 Volvo XC60
Bought this to retract the e-brake on my 2022 Volvo XC60 so I could replace the rear pads and rotors. It didn’t work at all, couldn’t recognize the vehicle and actually disabled a bunch of vehicle functions including the rear brakes. Two days After writing to Ancel I received this:“We have confirmed with the product support that the V0D700 does not support your 2022 Volvo XC60, even if you update, it still won’t support your vehicle.”

not sure i know how to use it well
Nice interface, systems check seems to work as it should.I’m confused as to why it can’t even detect my year and model on its own. I spent some time sitting in the car going through a lot of the menus.- I tried a few times to use this tool to reset my service light. I feel like I followed the onscreen steps, but with zero success.I’m not dropping it below 4 stars as I’m pretty sure its my fault and I should RTFM.Others said it works on cars other than volvo, I have yet to try it.I’m not hoping for any check engine lights, but thats when I’ll see if this thing shines.Value for money is TBD.

Works Perfectly on my 2020 XC40
Had to do the rear brakes on my 2020 XC40 T5, which requires you to release the Electronic Parking Brake. The scanner was able to do it no problem as well as pull a few stored codes which I cleared. Overall great tool that will save time and money.

Great bang for your buck. Has all the functions you need for a home mechanic to work on modern Volvos. But I use it on my Fiat and Acura too with similar functionality. If you have an OBD2 car, it’s a must buy.

This helped me verify that my cars transmission had some major problems. Since my car was under warranty, I didn’t want the dealership to claim that my transmission didn’t need replaced when I knew that it did. I would love to be able to have a way to transfer the diagnostic results to my computer, but I’m not sure if that is possible. The unit is really thorough in scanning the car and I like that it can scan the transmission components like the solenoids and that it can check transmission temperature. Most other scanners wont touch the transmission codes. FYI, I drive a 2015 Volvo S60.

Good for pre 2023 Volvo.
Just got one and used it for a few things. Seems to be thorough with both my 2004 S60 and 2013 XC60.But it will not connect to my laptop and without updating capabilities I’ll probably return it. Anyone else have this trouble?

Works great on my 2014 Volvo XC60.Shows me faults I didn’t even know I had.I can also live monitor values as can be seen on the video clip which show me the voltage supplied in real time to the Vision System Camera.Highly recommended for anybody servicing their own Volvo.

I have tried many ODB2 scanners from amazon and this was the only one that worked for me. It was not straight forward (it’s volvo, that’s not unexpected), but it worked.If you run into difficulties with service mode/parking brake release for brake pad change, press on the start key (position 1, engine not running) for 3 seconds. That will activate the parking brake release after using this device.
