I’m a farm equipment mechanic and this product works perfectly for me and what I’m doing. Sure it might not be the same quality as some of the more expensive brands but it is by no means a cheap product. It is very easy to use and to store with the removable tip. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants or needs a power probe but doesn’t have the cash or who doesn’t need all the functions of something like the power probe 4.

I bought the ANCEL PB50 Power Circuit Probe Tester for my husband after hearing about its great features for troubleshooting electrical issues, especially for car repairs. This tool has quickly become an essential part of his toolkit. It’s incredibly easy to use – you just connect the clips to the battery, and you’re ready to test circuits. The built-in circuit breaker is a nice touch, offering protection from overloads, and the ability to switch between different modes (DC voltage, AC voltage, resistance, etc.) makes diagnosing problems a breeze. The long cable is useful for most tasks, although we wish it were a little longer for some of those trickier spots.My husband’s been using it on various projects, from testing wires in the car to even checking trailer wiring. He loves how it lets him quickly identify short circuits, power up components, and test voltage, all without fumbling with alligator clips. It has definitely saved him time compared to using a multimeter, and he finds it much more convenient for some of those tight spots where other tools just don’t reach.The build is solid, and it feels durable, which is important for DIY projects where tools take a bit of a beating. It would have been nice if it came with a storage case, but overall, it’s a really useful tool that does the job well. If you’re into DIY repairs or troubleshooting electrical problems, this is definitely a tool to consider.
