An actual production level bit at hobby level pricing.
I bought this as an emergency to get my shop through a few days while our normal polycrystaline diamond bits were damagedor on backorder.Let me say this, I didn’t think that an amana bit would keep up with a Leitz or onsrud. Let me tell you, this bit has magic inside. We process particleboard with liner grade black melamine on both sides as well as mdf with the same on a Weeke 5×12 cnc. Im feeding this bit at 12-14 meters/minute and spinning it at 20,000. I expected to get at best 100-150 sheets before cut quality declined. I’m at 500 sheets on the same bit…. absolutely dialed in and still sharp and cutting well.Another thing that may benefit the life of this tool is my use of bridged nesting where the tool doesn’t lift out of the cut for each part but stays at depth while cutting a nest. Nonetheless this is an impressive stat for that tool.

Awesome Router Bit
I cannot believe how well this bit cuts. I do have to run it a little slower 520 ipm at 18k rpm but it is well worth the trade of for the quality of the cut. I used to have to set my edgebander to 1.5mm pre-mil to get rid of the chipped edges but now I could skip pre-mil altogether if I wanted. I haven’t had it long enough to see how long it will last and I am also unsure if I can send it in for sharpening. So far I have cut roughly 30 sheets of Melamine and the cut quality is still fantastic.Great Router BIt

clean cuts, diameter not accurate
I bought two of these in different lengths for use in a Shaper CNC router. I get clean cuts without grabbing. However, the diameter is not a full 1/4″. So you have to adjust for that.

Best Bits
Like all of my bits from this company this one is great. Would only buy this brand, as they are always top notch. Great value, great tool.

Great Bit
I use this bit in plywood, and being a compression bit and using proper feeds, speeds, and initial cut path you get a really clean and reliable cut. This bit lasts a long time too, other bits do not last as long as this one does. After several uses, it still cuts like new, no degrading as yet and I have used it long enough to have ended the life of other bits.

ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY!
Absolute waste of money. Absolute garbage. Look elsewhere, as this bit is the most overpriced piece of metal you’ll ever spend money on. First one I bought snapped, so I thought maybe I pushed it too hard, made adjustment. I said, okay I’ll be super conservative and will take it easy, second one also snapped after limited use. So I said forget it, and bought FIVE Chinese bits for a third of the price and they worked great. I decided, what the hell let’s give the ol’ American Amana a third chance, using the same exact speed and settings as the same spec Chinese bit. Guess what? Yep, it snapped. So now they owe me +/-$190 not including time wasted. Go buy the Chinese bits, and you’ll thank me for it. FIVE for less than $30. DONE WITH AMANA.

Know your machine, practice then buy these mills!
Looked at the reviews below. Looks like the didn’t seat the mill far enough in the spindle and tried to go at %100. Its not goung to work like that. These milles are out performing whiteside mills hands down and the price to lifetime ratio is far better. If you are new to cnc make sure you have your feeds and speeds as we’ll as your technique down. These bits are worth the money when you get the basics down. If you want more info search out shop1342woodworkin on social media. I will answer anyquestions you have.

Lors de la coupe de merisier, elle n’est pas plus efficace qu’une fraise Freud du même type vendu en quincaillerie à 15.49$. Le prix est exorbitant. Je m’attendais à plus d’Amana à ce prix.

tried this cheaper bit on the basis of well its cheap it might not stay sharp or last long but it’s done solid work over the last few weeks so happy to recommend it. Will now by a few of these to have on hand.Very good value
