Great saw for a homeowner!
This 16” saw arrived well packaged and undamaged. Assembly was minimal, very easy, and straightforward. Along with the saw, the package included two chains, a small bottle for chain oil, and a manual for saw assembly and maintenance. There was also a quick start guide for assembly and adjustment. The guide is made of durable material and fits easily in the pocket. I believe it is designed to be taken to the job site for reference if needed.The saw feels lighter than a gas powered saw of similar size along with being much quieter. The saw appears to be well-made and durable. I’m using 2 5ah aftermarket DeWalt compatible batteries to power the saw. Installation of the batteries is simple. The chain tension was simple to adjust and required no tools.The saw had no problem cutting the white oak tree trunk line on the ground. The saw was easy to handle and performed well. All of the cuts seen the video were made with one set of batteries.I’m very satisfied with this purchase. I believe I received a good tool at an excellent price!

Great 16” saw for the home owner with nice price point.
Nice home owner level Dewalt battery compatible saw. Includes chain and screwdriver for assembly. Easy to assemble and light weight. The 16” bar is nice and moderate size logs. I have used it so far to clear limbs along a fence line. I don’t plan to replace my gas saws for actually cutting firewood. I have several batteries which I keep charged and ready to use for the saw. I trimmed for about 40 minutes on one set of batteries before needing to change them out. You have to push a button before the trigger engages the chain. Just a safety feature instead of having a kickback feature. It’s great for a backyard DIYer and using it to trims limbs that would otherwise be too big for a hedge trimmer. Overall, I am pleased with the saw.

Quality chain saw
This is a quality chain saw. It was very simple to put together and took about 10 minutes . After inital chain installation the 2nd time should go much faster.Overall, it cut with ease, the auto oiler works very well. During use, it feels well balanced being sturdy and the safety and trigger both work very good.The power is sufficient and wouldn’t hesitate to cut larger pieces in better weather conditions. I was also impressed how long the batteries lastIt also has a nice saftey cover that makes it easy to store. After years of using a name brand, this is just as comparable and its a great saw!

Great saw, weak chains
Great saw but weak chains. They stretch to the maximum length and dull fast in just in a few cuts even on small wood compared to larger saws. The chains are difficult to find online and impossible to find in stores. When you do find them, the gap width is 0.050 not 0.043 inches or you will find 0.043 inch gap but only for 56 links, not 57. You can change to a 0.050 inch wide bar, but it will put more strain on the motor and take longer to cut.You can buy the same chains in Amazon if you like changing them out often. They work great at first. I have been using the saw to cut the tips off of firewood that is too long for my fireplace. It is small diameter like camping wood, about 3 – 4 inched in diameter. I let the saw cut using its own weight as much as possible. I have also used it to cut freshly fallen oak limbs about 2 inches in diameter with the same results described above. I cut a couple ATV loads per day for about 5 days before changing the chain. Although the chain was at its maximum adjustment, it never came off because it dulled and I had to change it first.

Plenty of power without the hassle of gas
Like many homeowners, I have many trees on our property that need to be pruned and maintained. I had an old gas chainsaw that I inherited from my father which is worn out beyond economical repair. Instead of replacing it with another gas chainsaw, I saw this saw as an option as I already had the Dewalt batteries that it requires. It’s so much easier to take care of the pruning when you don’t need to go refill the gas can and hope that the saw will start. Just pop two freshly charged batteries on this saw, make sure that the bar and chain oil is topped up, and you’re ready to go. I’ve used this on my in-laws’ lot in North Carolina where they have quite a few pine trees that are always dropping branches, especially after their winter ice storms. I’ve never fully depleted the batteries, even after sawing several large branches into stackable piles. It’s never bogged down significantly and the power has been enough to even get through an 8-inch tree trunk. The saw arrived needing minimal assembly and even came with the Phillips screwdriver needed to attach the bumper spikes and handle. The chain tension is easily adjusted without tools and a spare chain also was included. I was able to find a very reasonably priced storage and travel bag that keeps everything organized and ready for the next job.

This chainsaw seriously impresses me. It feels super solid and well-made, and that brushless motor has way more power than I thought a cordless one would. It cuts so smoothly and confidently, without all the shaking and noise you get from gas saws.It’s winter now, so I haven’t really pushed it with heavy summer work, but honestly, that just makes me even more excited to use it when it gets warmer. From how it’s performing so far, I can already tell it’s gonna be perfect for yard cleanup, trimming, and cutting firewood once the season hits.I really dig that it works with DeWalt 20V MAX batteries. If you already have those, this is a total no-brainer. The auto-oiling system is awesome, tightening the chain is quick and you don’t need tools, and the safety stuff makes me feel good using it.For a cordless chainsaw, this thing feels almost pro-level. No gas smell, no pull starts, just solid power right when you need it. If you’re after a dependable, powerful chainsaw that’s easy to take care of and ready for real work, this is a really good buy. Time will tell how this performs but I’m impressed so far! 2 chains is nice, assembly was quick! I’m not sure if this tool has low voltage cutoff like DeWalt tools so I’m going to just use my knock off batteries with it just to be safe. Cut through a 4 inch log nearly as quick as my gas saw. Going to make a great addition to my side by side gear
