Great firepit set
Both pieces are sturdy and well made, and the perfect length for avoiding getting burned. Easy to grab various sizes of wood with the tongs – the teeth get a really secure hold.

It is important to know these things are HUGE and really solid. I cannot use them for my inside wood stove but they will be perfect for my pizza oven outside! Summer got an unexpected upgrade!

I’m tellin’ ya, I was/am impressed with this sturdy, well made, fireplace/firepit TOOL! I was envisioning something like the rickety, finger-pinching, wobbly, fireplace tongs from my childhood years. You know the ones that are part of some Fisher-Price wannabe set that sat next to the household fireplace(?) The ones that were more decoration than usable? Not these babies! When you pull these from an unexpectedly large box upon arrival, you quickly realize that these are simply more than you might have been expecting! I use this beast for an outdoor fire pit. They are totally+ what I wanted and needed for out there!!! Get ’em!! You’ll be super-Jazzed you did!!!

These are AMAZINGLY strong & well built!
Purchased these for a rather unconventional reason – to deal with the tumbleweeds in my yard. I was tired of getting the little jabs in my fingers from the tumbleweeds and struggled to put them in the organic recycling bin. Had a much lighter duty grabber tool, but it ended up breaking as it wasn’t designed for that. These are PERFECT – picks up a lot in one grab, keeps them a safe distance from my body/skin, and is strong enough to shove the weeds down into the bin, which fits a lot more in! One small word of caution – these will pinch fingers if you aren’t careful when closing/carrying them! So glad I bought them and I’m certain they’ll come in handy for many other tasks too!

gekauft zur Verwendung meiner Feuerschale mit 80 cm Durchmesser. Dickere Holzstücke mit entsprechendem Gewicht sind schlecht anzuheben aufgrund der Zangenlänge. Ebenfalls biegt sich dabei die Zange durch. Ich habe mir jetzt eine Aluminiumzange bestellt mit 60 cm Länge die vermutlich besser geeignet ist und auch ein deutlich geringeres Eigengewicht hat.
