Worked on 22 Honda with BLUETTI power supply
Could not be more pleased. Used it on a 22 Honda. Connected to a BLUETTI battery supply via the 12 volt cigarette connector. Worked perfectly. Swapped the AGM battery and the computer memory was untouched. Great product at a great price.

Works well
I recently used this to connect my riding lawnmower battery to my car while I went to get a replacement battery for the car. After installing the new battery in the car & removing the battery saver, all the car’s settings were intact; I didn’t have to reprogram the radio or any settings.

Works well, but don’t depend on the instructions.
Blew a fuse in my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek when Plugged into OBDII. Looked it up in online chat rooms for, and many others have had the same issue. DOESN’T WORK WITH SUBARU.Might work with other brands.11-11-2019 update. I looked into it a bit more You cannot allow a light to come on or a radio to start, or any electrical draw to occur while you are powering the car through the OBDII port. This will inevitably blow a fuse according to what I read. With this in mind, I have two other cars that are getting new batteries before the month is out, and I will try again. Keep the key fob far away & have the window lowered and door stays closed.Bumped overall rating up to 3 even if it does work well because instructions do not emphasize this at all. Wasted my time finding and replacing the blown fuse.Otherwise, nice concept.Nov 26, 2019 update: Two more battery changes accomplished, and no issues. One Hyundai and one Subaru. I made sure there wasn’t a current draw when I was using the backup battery & all went as planned. Nice!I have bumped the rating to a 4 star. It would be an easy 5 star if only the instructions were complete. Never let any light, chime, etc happen while you’re using the memory saver battery, and it will work as advertised!

Simple device to keep some auto settings while replacing battery
This device is a major labor saver if you have to replace the battery in your car or truck. It keeps the electrical system energized while you disconnect the battery, so you don’t lose some of your various settings saved in volatile memory (radio settings, garage door pairing, seat and steering wheel positions, etc ). You simply attach the clamps to another 12v battery (your second car for example) and then plug in the OBDII and 12v can back feed into your car’s system and keep volatile memory “alive.”

Works well
The cable is long enough to connect to the lighter of another car parked along side, and also comes with clips that can be used to attach to another battery instead. The device did work in maintaining nearly all the settings in my 2019 Mazda during a battery change. The only setting lost was the time, and the only data lost was for the two trip counters (Trip A & B mileage and MPG), which are not important to me. I understand that it is not unusual to lose the clock and trip counters. I recommend this device and would buy it again.
