4-1/2 Stars – Quality Brushless Impact Driver
There’s a lot to like about this Impact Driver (ID), so let me break it down first by what I like, a few things that could be improved, and a summary. I have another impact driver by a premium tool brand, so my review in many ways is a comparison.What I like:This tool has a lot to offer, including some features my other ID doesn’t provide. First off, the LED light is super bright, and it’s circular, going around the entire shaft, so there are no shadows to deal with. It also has a variable speed trigger, and switching between forward and reverse is the standard thumb switch. The motor is brushless, so if you’re hard on tools, you don’t have that to contend with. There are 2 batteries, easy to swap, and it comes with a real charger, which states it has various “over” protections that should help the batteries last longer. The tool is compact, yet it has enough heft that you know it’s a lot more than plastic. It has an impressive amount of torque at 2000 in-lbs, and there are a number of options to switch between modes, and there are 4-speed options. It functions like a combination drill and impact driver, as when I screwed some drywall screws into a 2×4, it felt like a drill at first, and then as it got tighter, it switched into impact driver mode. My other tool has a separate drill and driver, and I use them separately, whereas this is more or less a 2-in-1.Things that could be improved:No case. I will continue to use the cardboard box to store this, but I would’ve preferred if this came with a rugged plastic storage box. The batteries on my other tool have an indicator showing the remaining battery life, and these batteries don’t show that. The quick-release chuck got stuck a few times with my impact driver bits. Maybe it’s just new, but it seemed a little rough getting the bit to lock into place. Those buttons that switch between modes were kind of confusing, and the instructions don’t really explain it well either. And lastly, the longevity. You just don’t know how long a tool like this will last. Maybe it will surprise me, and I’ll get years of service from it, and the batteries hold up.Summary:For the value-conscious shopper who wants a multi-functional ID that offers an impressive amount of torque, this is a nice tool, and I highly recommend it. Overall, I love the many features they’ve packed into this well-designed tool. The few things I’ve complained about won’t prevent me from reaching for this tool on a regular basis, and I look forward to introducing it to my projects.

Very good impact driver!
I was showcked when I pulled this out at work for the first time. I was using my name brand impact driver that is supposed to be good for 175 ft/lbs but couldnt break the fastener loose. I thought I would give this one a shot just to see if it could even budge it. To my suprise, it completely broke the fastener loose after just a few impacts. This driver definately hits above its weight by making quick work of breaking loose fasteners. I checked the other 8 bolts with my name brand impact and it wouldnt break any of them loose. I decided to try this impact driver once again for the remainder of the task and it was able to break all bolts loose easily and quickly. I love the light ring, its a huge help when trying to see what you are doing. I am very happy with this impact driver.

Better than my yellow and black one!?
21V Brushless Impact Screwdriver, LAZYLAND 230Nm Electric Cordless Driver Set with Dual 3.0Ah Batteries, Screwdriver Bits and Built-in Led Light for Home Repairing DIY, GreenI recently bought a brand name yellow and black version of this drill that cost twice what this one does. I think this one is better. Both have the pros and cons but I think this one wins. The light on the front is bigger and brighter, the trigger has amazing sensitivity, and the drill has torque and speed settings that the name brand one does not! The draw back is the batteries are a little bigger and heavier but they have a larger amp hour rating. Checks off more boxes! Wish I’d saved some money and bought this one rather than the name brand one!

I have used other brands in the past, but have to say I was very impressed with this drill. The Batteries are strong and are lithium. I like that it came with two. I have been using it for smaller projects and it works well. The battery life is plenty long also. I love the torque adjustments.

This is a great impact driver and drill for in the house. It runs a long time on a battery charge and is an all time go to tool! We use it a lot and is well worth it.
