2-in-1 Powerful Diagnostic & Battery Tester – This 2026 upgraded FOXWELL NT630 Pro combines an ABS/SRS/OBD2 scanner with a professional 12V battery tester, supporting 100–3000CCA battery health, cranking, and charging system analysis plus 5 essential maintenance resets: ABS Bleeding, BRT, Oil, SAS, and EPB. The all-in-one design replaces multiple tools and saves time and money. With f-ree Wi-Fi updates, simply connect and select Update All to install the latest software and vehicle coverage, ensuring the scanner runs the newest version and unlocks full ABS data and auto bleed functions for supported vehicles.
Pinpoint Out ABS/SRS & OBD2 Issues – The NT630 Pro code reader quickly read and clear fault codes for ABS, SRS, and OBD2 systems, retrieves ECU info, and shows live data( wheel speed, brake signals, and airbag status). It helps you turn off warning lights, diagnose brake, airbag, and OBD2 problems at home without expensive dealership fees. Note: SRS airbag faults can be read, but crash data cannot be cleared.
Complete 12V Battery & Alternator Health Check – Not just voltage reading, the 2-in-1 scan tool with battery tester provides complete battery testing, just like the FOXWELL BT301. Detect weak batteries early, extend battery life, and avoid costly replacements. It offers accurate battery health (SOH), state of charge (SOC), internal resistance, cranking voltage, and alternator performance, compatible with regular, AGM, EFB, and GEL batteries. The high-precision chip and copper clips ensure stable and reliable results, while BRT function helps register new batteries to the vehicle system.
Advanced ABS Functions & Brake Bleeding – Diagnose ABS issues with real-time wheel-speed monitoring, freeze-frame data, and tests like calibration and initialization to identify ABS warning lights, uneven braking, or soft brake pedals. Supports auto brake bleeding to remove trapped air and restore pedal firmness, solving spongy brakes or poor braking response. With the f-ree latest update, the ABS service option is now directly accessible from the menu, making it easier to maintain your brake system. Note: ABS Bleeding is vehicle-specific; check VIN compatibility before purchase.
Service Resets & Battery Registration (BRT) – Simplify maintenance, save time and costs with essential resets like Battery Registration (BRT), ABS Bleeding, SAS Calibration, EPB Reset, and Oil Reset. BRT helps stabilize voltage and extend battery life after replacing the same battery type, reducing future battery-related issues. The ABS bleeding ensure your brake work properly, improving safety. Easily enable updates via Wi-Fi for new functions and fixes, avoiding extra service fees. Note: Battery coding or changing battery types is not supported.
Large 2.8″ Color Screen & Complete Kit – The 2.8-inch color display delivers clear readings and easy navigation, even in low-light conditions. A 6.5-ft test cable allows convenient one-person operation. This 2-in-1 diagnostic scanner and battery tester works with all 12V vehicles including cars, light trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, and boats. Comes with battery clamps, OBD2 cable, Type-C cable, user manual, carry bag, and lifetime free WiFi updates for extended compatibility.
Important Limitations & Vehicle Coverage Notice – 1) Does NOT scan Tire Pressure Sensor, TRANSMISSION or all modules, CAN NOT regenerate the DPF. 2) No ECU programming / key coding / relearn. 3) Airbag: reads SRS faults only—cannot clear crash/collision data. 4) ABS bleeding will not work on vehicles that require manual bleeding. 5) Special functions (ABS Bleed, Oil/EPB/SAS/BRT) vary by vehicle. Please check FOXWELL’s official website → Support → Diagnostic Coverage List with your VIN before purchase.

  1. Andrey Michael Marcus

    First time DIYer
It helped me diagnose my cricketer. Even though I a new DIYer this tool helped me prepare for any fixes that I needed broker going to the dealership. Making sure i don’t get up sold on any thing that i might not need at the time. Great product that bitter lives forever in my vehicle.

  2. RHJ

    Nice unit
Very good OBD reader. Like the live graphing setting. I would give it a 5 but it doesn’t read tire pressure sensors.

  3. Steven Clark

    Perfect tool for the job
Excellent item. Well made and easy to use. Worked easily and perfectly. Highly recommended.

  4. Rick Roberts

    ABS bleed function
It works great. Very importamt tool to have.It bleeds your ABS system and gives you a stiffer brake pedal.

  5. Chance H

    Highly recommend
Very easy to use. Was able to calibrate a steering angle sensor on a 2010 gm suv. Does everything it advertises and is very quick at doing it. Menu is very easy to read and understand. Haven’t used the battery testing function yet

Foxwell should have a page on AMAZON, that states what ABS vehicles can be auto ABS bled.
UPDATE and upgraded review on my FOXWELL NT630 AUTO Bleed update. Use WiFi instead of PC for updates on device. Hit the update button at least three times, every time it says it it’s updated. I discovered the the updates are segmented, instead of one big package. I updated the scanner and it kept taking more and more current updates. Do this until their is nothing more to update. Also found that doing the a full blown install of all vehicles supported software did get unit to read data on ABS, auto bleed and all the functions the scanner offers. With the unit multi updated it will auto bleed from a 2007 Chevy suburban, 2008 Tahoe Yukon to a 2016 GMC Yukon, and yes, my 2013 Tahoe.

    Great Value OBD Tool
Powerful diagnostic tool for the DIY mechanic. I needed to replace my 7 year old OBD code reader and this one hit the sweet spot of capability and price for me. It’s also pretty easy to use.

  8. William E. Stanley

A good buy for the money.
This scanner will do everything except the dishes and laundry! A whole lot of information is action packed into this scanner. Not to the level of scanners that cost hundreds of $$ more. But close to it.

Our needs for this tool in our automotive dealership was principally to cover off-make vehicles that our manufacturer specific equipment will not interface with . Outside of our vehicle brand, we will see other manufacturer’s used vehicles and fleet vehicles. We do not get elbows deep into off-brand diagnostics but we sometimes need to get a handle on what we’re dealing with when the dreaded warning light comes on; whether Check Engine, ABS, Air Bag or even oil change light. For retrieving system DTC’s and the look up feature it this tool was OK for our limited needs. It could direct you to a problem area and if you can figure it out without access to manufacture specific workshop manual literature that’s OK if not too complex. The Live Data monitoring feature was helpful, but not as comprehensive as what we are used to dealing with in using our own equipment. It can be good with basics like checking if the engine temp at full warm up, monitoring that all the wheel speeds reading accurately, and if the fuel mixture out to lunch, etc.Power when only plugged in is typical with tools of this sort, we make a go of it. For the price point however, you would figure there would be some limited self-power capability built-in…. maybe their next generation release will be improved in this respect. Costs you nothing to use the tool, no license or upgrade pop ups restricting you from making use of the tool, but was not the easiest interface to navigate as others have commented. Some tools may claim to be higher on included features and cheaper on initial purchase price, but the updates will cost you. So you never want to put good money towards something that has built in obsolescence in the short term and the jury is out on this tool in that respect because it is up there in the price point. To sum it all up, a shop needing a back-up tool to grab and plug in on-the-go this tool works well enough. For a novice handler, it may steer you to component replacement and you just might get lucky in getting a successful & effective repair out of it. Some of those imports with complex oil change resets, this tool was pretty good in getting past a small handful of those; which otherwise had us cruising YouTube videos to figure out the reset.

Let me start this review by saying I am a car enthusiast but not a gearhead. I am more into electronics than I am mechanical systems. Still, I like to learn how things work and I don’t love paying other people for services that I can learn to do myself. I like having an ODB2 reader to see the codes being thrown up by the vehicle, so I can learn what’s going on and even try to fix things. This tool is so much more than just an ODB2 reader, it has more functionality than I know what to do with.It comes in a soft zippered case and there are two power options – a standard ODB2 connector cable, and another one that connects to alligator clips so you can power the device from a 12V battery. This allows you to run a battery health test directly, where it will tell you what shape the battery is in. When connected to a vehicle, it’s able to pull a lot more data, including querying the VIN (or you can enter it manually) and reading a whole ton of diagnostic and live status data. The included manual is 70 pages long and describes all the different menus and options. The backlit LCD screen is bright and the pushbutton interface is easy to use.The one thing I could not figure out is how to power it via the USB-C port, as I was hoping to use it this way to connect to wifi and update the firmware without having to be inside my vehicle. I never could get it to power on this way.I would highly recommend this diagnostic tool for any car enthusiast or mechanic.

If you are someone likes to work on their own vehicles, especially if you have modern ones with all the onboard computers, then you need this unit.My struggle started when I redid the brakes on my 2019 ram 1500 and the a b s light would not go off. After looking into it for a little bit, I realized that it has to be reset in the computer and of course, the average household mechanic does not have the ability to do that. So I had to take it into the garage to get that reset, and that cost me two hundred and fifty bucks. So when I saw this unit advertised, I knew that it was a perfect solution, two problems I would encounter in the future as I work on my vehicle as well as my wife’s and my two kids.Out of the box you can tell this is a good unit by how well it is made, how it fits comfortably in your hand and the quality of the cables that come with it. I have an older battery tester, which I suspected was starting to fault. So having that feature in an obd2 unit is perfect. In fact, the first things I did with the unit was determined a charging problem with my wife’s crv as well as confirming my daughter’s battery was starting to fail.I have a reader already but it is the kind that uses your phone as a screen. And I found that problematic as your phone gets quite dirty. Having a unit with a screen is perfect. As I can use my phone to do research while i’m using the reader. The menu isn’t completely intuitive right off the hop, but it didn’t take long for me to get the hang of it. It’s great how it comes loaded to work on so many vehicles right out of the box.One thing to be aware of is the firmware update. Talk about forty five minutes for me. So make sure you have that time planned.I will be working on my sons truck with him in the near future for his brakes, so it’s comforting to know that I’ll be able to handle computer reset without dealing with the dealership.I was able to effectively and quickly use the scanner on all vehicles, end, no check Engine lights we’re on so I was not able to test out any code finding, but it did help clear an intermittent light issue that my daughter was having that the other scanner could not pick up. That was very impressive. It had to do with her evap system.I’m really looking forward being able to use this unit more in depth once some check engine lights, come on. Is that weird? Haha
