Warm Tips:

They are much better than the original.
I use a lot of portable electric tools on my farm and the original Ryobi batteries do not have the lifespan of Topbatt replacement batteries. I bought this initial two and then reordered two more because they worked so well with my saws.One feature I liked was that they didn’t just die, they give a bump discharge warning and they have a LED display to show charging and discharge cycle.

Great product!
I use these with my outdoor yard tools ( a small blower and string trimmer). I purchased these because they were way cheaper that Ryobi Batteries. They are better, more powerful and longer lasting than the originals. I have even noticed that when my tools stop when theses batteries are out of power, if you wait a few minutes they will have more power to finish the job you are doing. It’s like they don’t want to quit.

Good eplaement Battery
The battery so far has been a real help opposed to the Ni-Cad batteries. This battery comes with a voltage level indicator but it is not reliable. It goes from 4 bars down to one in a short amount of time but still has power to continue on for a lot longer than expected at 1 bar. It works very well with my weed eater and drill but my hand saws seem to struggle at times. I think next time I will get the ones with a higher amperage rating to power my saws.

UPDATE: Purchased 01/15/2019 Have been in use 5 years now 9/23/2025Just ran across this review of mine and thought I should update since these batteries are still in use 5 1/2 years later.Raised review to 5 stars, and deservingly so.____________________________________________________________________01/15/2019 Bought 2 – 3000mah and cared for them properly, never left uncharged. Yet both batteries don’t last nearly as long as the original Ryobi 1.5mAh batteries.I’m still on the fence about value.The 3 mAh batteries cost a 1/4 of OEM Ryobi batteries, but still not sure it’s worth the savings. Reliability is important to me.Further testing required;

Like an Energizer
The money part was the best. I could have bought two sets and still not pay for one set of Ryobi batteries.Long term also. Had to do some work on my hunting boxed stand and worked on for several hours. I cut 4 x 4’s and 2x’s plus other metals and woods. Then screwed everything in. Did what I needed without going back to camp recharge. Great buy.

Great value
So far so good, I had a battery go bad from my 18V Ryobi tools. Leaving me with only one battery of the same vintage as the one that died. I searched the internet for replacements. The factory ones are 3 times the money just for one. So I tried the knock off ones. They have so far worked out just fine. 2 for one deal. I like that.

High quality replacement batteries
I bought these replacement batteries for a Ryobi tool and an Arctic Cove fan. These batteries fit perfectly in both tools, last longer, and the LED battery level lights are a great feature. I also bought the fast charger that goes with these batteries, and it is also high quality , as well as being able to charge my original Arctic Cove battery. I do recommend these items.

Works ok with drill/impact but dies on miter saw
These batteries are fine with the likes of drills/drivers, but try it on a miter saw and it just doesn’t have what it takes. I can use my Ryobi 1 and 1.5 amp hour batteries without any issues on my miter saw. A fully charged 3 amp hour goes from 4 leds on the fuel guage to 1 led with the press of the saw trigger.
