Great deal for on the go lighting
Good battery life when being used at full power. Nice and light. The carrying case makes it awesome for toting around and also has enough room to put other things inside of it. I often will throw my GoPro case and my accessory case in the same zip up bag to save space and not forget things.

    Fantastic!!!
Fantastic to use and incredibly easy to carry. The lighting offers great latitude in brightness and color, delivering solid performance for its size. It’s also excellent value for money. The only drawback is that the light control buttons protrude, which can snag or come loose during transport.

    Lots of light
I think this is a pretty solid buy for the money. Not only do you get two lights, complete with tripods and a carrying case, you get chargers and phone holders as well. I’m no pro but I still needed to get a dependable, bright light kit that gives me some freedom to move about and set up without cords getting in my way. The stands are height adjustable and for my purposes are more than adequate.Pros:A complete solution in one kitBuilt in, rechargeable, long lasting batteriesBright, switchable temperature lightsAdjustable brightnessTripods can adjust to over 6 ft4000 mah batteryCons:Takes a bit to rechargeThe stands feel a little flimsyTripod is not quick mount

    Great Lights, worthless light stands
So, this one is a split decision, really so to be fair I really have to rate these separately.Lights:Generally, I’m pretty pleased with them. For the price point they are what I was expecting and work exactly as I wanted (fill lights). Don’t plan on these being weather resistant (they’re not) but that can be easily dealt with. The Kelvin adjustments are great. these are not multicolored LEDs though so you really only get white to warm tones which is perfectly fine with me as that is what I wanted for specific lighting conditions for night scape photography. The lights are long lasting if on lower luminosity settings and charge fairly quick. These aren’t the highest of quality panel lights out there so there’s ample plastic, but honestly for this price point it’s fairly well priced and they light the area up in a nice controlled and consistent manner. I feel for the price point, though, they would be even more attractive to include barn doors (PREFEERED) or a diffuser. My only complaint is the light stands/tripods…Light stand/tripod:Worthless. Waste of material. I would rather these have barn doors than those useless poor quality stands but with the same female connections on two sides as they have for mounting on a real tripod as they are perfect. However, the female threads are small.. to use them with a standard tripod (which I do), you’ll need 1/4 Male to 3/8 Female Camera Screw Adapter (can purchase on Amazon for less than $10). The stand is totally flimsy, light, unbalanced, and a royal pain to set up and tear down… I tried them once and they’ll likely go in the trash. They work much better mounted directly on a real sturdy tripod. The stands are the only reason this product gets three stars. If it were just the lights and accessories, then I would have given it a solid four stars. But don’t be frightened away from the three star rating.. because they perform exactly as advertised I do recommend them.. but my advise is to not get seduced by the inclusion of the light stands.. not really an added benefit.. more an annoyance. And the results: I included an image I captured with them of a barn under a full moon. So you have a feel for the results, I had the Kmasic lights set to the base K setting (which for these lights is very warm); I set the white balance of my camera to 3400K and +1 magenta correction (to produce a cooler sky which I prefer); this is a 15 sec exposure at f5 with a f2.8 lens. For this image I used four panel lights (three different panel manufacturers). I used the Kmasic panels to light the sides of the barn exterior (one placed to each side of the barn out of the frame) which produced nice balanced warm tones I really liked. There was a small hand sized panel light I set by the corner, and another panel inside (both were from a different manufacturer). All lights were set at the “same” white balance (kelvin); the outdoor lights were all set to 1% luminosity, the indoor one placed near the center of the barn (Viltrox panel) was at 4%. The Kmasic ones were perfect. The small one placed at the corner (from SmallRig), even at 1% was far too bright even shielded (of course it was close to the barn, so the results here was somewhat expected; however holding it right next to the Kmasic lights was still undesirably brighter, and the white balance is off), but is a good comparison nonetheless.

This is a complete portable lighting solution for small sets or shoots, such as a one-person interview, a social media reel, product photography, etc. Everything comes in a padded zippered carrying case. Inside are two tripod stands that can each extend to about 2 meters high (over 6 feet), and two rechargeable LED light panels. You get two 12V AC adapters with barrel jack outputs to charge the light panels, as well as two clamp-on phone holders and two angle adapters. The tripod heads terminate with a standard 1/4-20 thread and with all the accessories attached you can tilt the light panels as needed. All the adjustments are done by tightening knobs. The way the phone stand mounts to the pole is a little flimsy in my opinion but they work. You get a circular clamp adapter that you pry open to stretch-fit around the pole, and then tighten the latch to hold it there. The light panels have two knobs to adjust brightness from 0 to 100% and color temperature from 2500K (very yellow) to 8500K (very white). Like most inexpensive light panels what you are really adjusting are the brightness levels of two sets of LEDs, and mixing the yellow and white to form the output color you want. The plastic diffuser does a decent job of blending the light output so it doesn’t look like a matrix of LEDs.The batteries are internal to the lights which makes for clean packaging but will one day become problematic when the battery wears out. Until then, you have a very convenient cordless lighting package ready to take with you to your shoot.

I’ve been using big light stands for years when I do streaming or product displays. I had a few bulbs burn out and they are hard to find now so I decided to get these LED panel lamps to give them a try. I love them and they are replacing my old ones! The only weird thing was there were no English instructions in my kit (only French and a few other languages). The lamps arrive in a long cardboard box. Inside the box is a black fabric carrying bag with all of the hardware inside. Inside the bag are the two lamps, two stands, different brackets for mounting either the lamps or a cell phone, and the AC adapters. Everything is wrapped up nicely and the batteries have a bit of charge in them already. I decided to charge them both right away, so I plugged them in using the AC adapters and after a couple hours they were fully charged. You can see the charge state on the display, which is nice.During the charge, I set up the stands. Each stand has a telescopic pole that can reach over 6 feet high! The tripod base is wide and solid enough to hold the relatively light lamp. It might wobble a bit if you over extend it since the bottom of the pole won’t be resting in its slot, but if you need that extra height it is possible. If you want to use the cell phone holder instead, swapping mounts is quick and easy.Once the lamps were charged I screwed them onto the mount and you can adjust their direction, which is great. When you flip the switch at the back they turn on and you can adjust the brightness and color temperature using the knobs. These don’t have RGB colors but the light temperature can go an impressive range from 2500k to 8500k! The little display on the back shows the K setting as well as the brightness percentage so it’s easy to adjust and remember the settings you want. The battery lasts quite a while even on full brightness, they throw off barely any heat, and a great bonus is that you can have the lights plugged in and slow charging while you’re using them.Overall, this is a great pair of LED lights and I love everything that comes with the kit. Now that I have these, I’ll never go back to using bulbs as this is more convenient for me in every way. If you’ve been wanting to get LED light panels, I highly recommend this kit!

Kit fits neatly into a padded carrying case with carrying straps that while basic is able to make lugging around the panels, stands, and mounting adapters easy. Controls for temperature adjustment and brightness was intuitive. Switching power toggle on rear feels tactile but these panels charge up with included 12v adapters. The PSU power supplies do lack basic certification markings and wired to around 4ft of cable length. Despite this, after allowing the integrated cells which there are 4x 1000mAh 18650 type batteries on each panel, they get fairly bright. Battery life is a drawback when driving above 75% brightness draining in less than 20 minutes. On 25% brightness range covers around 3ft but lasts over 75 mins on battery. Stands are heavy duty yet extend to nearly 6.5ft height plus size of these 10″ panels on top. When it comes to creating soft diffused glow for studio photography this dual panel lighting kit with screen, control knobs and carrying bag is thoughtfully put together. Screw for 1/4″ is a caveat on durability since its brass threaded into plastic mountable either in portrait or landscape mode. Stands do take up considerable space on bottom side and there’s slight wobble on panels near 1/4″ screw thread despite being able to adjust angle to position flexibly.

This two pack of portable LED studio lights are great to have for photographers and videographers. The stands are fairly durable and sturdy when set up properly. They are extremely tall and can be extended up to over 6 ft and then add on the height of the light itself. It comes with two of everything including cell phone holders, plug in chargers, and a unique adapter that offers additional adjustment for the lights. The LED light panels themselves are very impressive as they are extremely bright and the control it offers. I really like the digital display on the back of that shows the exact color temperature and brightness setting. Each knob is smooth and has no clicks which makes adjustment very granular. For example the color temperature can be adjusted in very minor increments so you can have the exact color temperature that you want, I believe this is called stepless adjustment and stepless dimming. The instruction booklet has no English! The carrying case offer some protection from dents scratches as there is some padding but it is overall a soft case with a zipper that works well and two handles for it to be carried like a briefcase.Once you’ve used this a few times set up as a breeze and only takes a few minutes. It is portable but the whole kit I would not say is light in weight – it has some weight to it, I would guesstimate about 7 lbs. total. As for the actual function of lighting itself I would definitely recommend this product for any photographers or videographers that need to light up a small studio area.

  13. Rick Rev

No real concerns with this LED video light panel 2x kit with tripods and mobile phone mounts from brand KMASIC as it offers a accessible functions on the back, and each are powered by wall-plug cord, and can be recharged. Each work just fine for its purpose, and do the job intended, illuminating a scene, whether fill light for photo or video work.I am glad each light has its own head mount for the light to be connected to each tripod, as this increases flexibility, such as moving the light into various positions. The tripod stands are durable enough, and as noted, each comes with a mobile phone mount as well; a welcome inclusion for doing self-promotion scenes. This is a simple but fairly powerful solution I had wanted for myself, functioning as a creative who needs to get work done at home. 5 stars.
