Dispatch Store: 16-in-1 Function Compact Multitool, Made of Stainless-Steel w/Belt Clip & Nylon Case
I have never had a tool like this before. Since I was a Boy Scout, I have had a pocket knife which had four blades and many possible functions. However, none of my knives ever had the functionality of this tool. In many ways, this tool is like a pocket knife on steroids but this tool is not centered on cutting functions of a knife blade. That said, this tool does have a knife blade, and a very sharp one at that. As a matter of fact, this tool has two knife blades. The first knife blade is a standard, straight edge knife blade. The second knife blade is a shorter, very sharp serrated knife blade. While this tool does have two knife blades, its primary function is centered around a set of long-nose pliers that are literally, in the center of the tool. The plier’s handles fold out from the folded tool and latch into place. Thanks to the long length of the plier’s handles and the relatively short length of the plier’s functional end, the force multiplication factor is substantial and the grip of the pliers is extraordinary. The grooved ends of the plier’s jaws fit together perfectly and the curved area below the grooved end will grip rounded items very well. Slightly closer the pivot point is a wire cutter section that should have no problem cutting copper, aluminum, or even steel wire. There are hemispherical reliefs designed into the wire cutter section closest to the pivot point that will hold smaller gauge wires very effectively for cutting. The pliers are finished as a completed unit so that the pliers’ section is very smooth and uniformly finished. There are lightening cuts incorporated into each side of the plier’s jaws. While this may not reduce the weight by much, the visual impression is quite nice. The plier’s handles are finished in a very smooth black oxide finish and they have a large area that has had the black oxide finish ground off and the stainless-steel has then been left “In the White.” This same area has four lightening cuts made completely through the sides panels that provides very interesting visual appeal. These lightening cuts will have an impact upon the tool’s total weight. One of the plier’s handles has a belt clip attached. The belt clip is quite strong and is a welcomed method of securing the tool should the user decide not the use the included nylon pouch. The tool’s handle that has the belt clip attached to it, has four (4) blade-like attachments incorporated into that handle. Those blade-attachments include:1. A saw blade,2. A Phillips-type screwdriver blade,3. A common-type screwdriver blade and bottle cap opener, and4. A ruler and file blade. Each of the blades detailed above is physically locked into place, once fully folded out from the handle. When it is desired to return the blade into the handle, the “Unlock Lever” located between the third and fourth blade must be depressed. The “Unlock Lever” is marked with an unlocked padlock emblem etched into the area which must be depressed. The tool’s other handle has five (5) blade-like attachments incorporated into that handle. Those blade-attachments include:1. A 2.5-inch knife blade,2. A small common-type screwdriver blade and a can opener,3. A small common-type screwdriver blade,4. A 1.75-inch serrated knife blade, and5. A spring-loaded scissors mechanism. As with the blades in the first pliers handle described above, each of these blades is locked into place, once fully folded out from the handle. When it is desired to return the blade into the handle, the “Unlock Lever” located between the first and second blade must be depressed. The “Unlock Lever” is marked with an unlocked padlock emblem etched into the area which must be depressed.Based upon the information provided on the product’s Amazon page, this tool is made from two types of stainless-steel alloy. 3CR13 stainless steel (also now called 30CR13 stainless-steel) is used for the knife blades, saw blade, the file blade, and the various tool blades for maximum hardness and edge retention of the blades. 2CR13 stainless steel (also now called 20CR13 stainless-steel) is used for the handle, belt clip, and back lock components for its structural toughness. This tool, by my measurement, weighs exactly 9.2 ounces. While this is somewhat heavier than some competitor’s products, it is only heavier by one half of an ounce. This tool is slightly less than four (4) inches long when folded, which is slightly shorter than some comparable competitor’s products. This tool is provided with a woven nylon case. The case has a 2.5” belt loop on the back of the case and a steel snap on the front of the case to securely close the case.As I previously said, I have never had a tool like this before. That said, I find this tool to be quite useful, particularly is work situations, and will be using it in the future. It provides quite a number of basic essential tools in a very small and relatively light package. It is much easier to be able to reach for this tool rather than having to stop work and return to the shop or my truck for a needed tool. I can see this tool being quite useful to me. I do like this product.

Excellent Multi-Tool with nice features
Good tool.Very sturdy and durable. All the blades/options lock into place once you open them fully. The unlock button is VERY easy to use.Everything seems like really good quality. The only thing is that if you have a blade/tool open and locked, and then you pull out a second blade/tool but don’t open it fully, the unlock button won’t work to release the first one. You have to open the 2nd one fully and lock it into place before you can use the unlock button to unlock either one of them. That’s not actually a problem, and is probably safer that way, but I just noticed it when I was playing around with it.Good value.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Whether you’re doing small repairs around the house, tackling a DIY project, or out on a hike, this multitool has you covered. Everything opens smoothly and locks into place securely.Overall, this is a practical, thoughtfully designed multitool that’s easy to carry and ready when you need it. Well made. Good tool selection.
Overall Im happy with this multitool. Cheap enough to not worry about losing it or beating it up too bad. But expensive enough to not be cheaply made or lacking in features. The tools are all accessible from the handle meaning you’ll dont have to open the pliers, get out the tool and then recluse thr handle to use it. Each tool locks open securely and the release is in the middle of the tool which makes 1 handed use a breeze.Knife is sharp and not too thin either. Feels like it could take some outdoor abuse. The pliers are pretty blunt and I would have liked to have some real needle noses on these but that’s just me. The cutters in the pliers are not replaceable but work great and would be able to cut wire 1000x times before they needed a replacement anyway. I have had a lot of Leathermans over the years and have never once replaced the cutters. The sheath is very basic and pretty flimsy. I am not using it and I wouldn’t want to. The pocket clip is great though and holds the tool securely. Overall well made and functional tool.

16-in-1 Compact Multitool, Full-Size, Multi Tool
This multitool has most of the features you would want and expect with a multitool. First off, the pliers are very good in the design with spring loaded opening design. They feel very good in the hand, and work well too. Note that when comparing this multitool, to a well known name brand, this is definitely a lower level of refined features, but that doesn’t necessarily take away from the versatility of the tool. There are two knife blades, one being a full sized regular blade and another being a shorter serrated blade. The included file also doubles as a ruler on one side. I wish the file had two sides to it, one being coarse and the other being fine, but they chose to make one side only and the other side the ruler. The scissors and saw work well. Note that the screwdrivers are designed as non replaceable types. When the tools are extended, they lock into position which is good, and then you press a lever to release from the lock to fold them back in.The bottom line is this is a good multitool at an excellent price point at the time of this review.
