    New to lathe work… I love this chuck
    I am, admittedly, pretty new to wood turning. I bought an old Delta/Rockwell 12″ lathe a few months ago, and this was one of the first “must have” additions to the setup.Before tightening down on a workpiece, the jaws have a lot of play in them. I’d think that would be a real problem for precision metal turning, but for the wood turning that I’ve done, it seems fine.The range of sizes seems very adequate for anything my lathe could handle. I’ve been able to turn a few bowls and vases with ease. I suppose that if I had a go with a much nicer chuck, I might be dissatisfied with this one, but for now, as a beginner, I’m pretty happy with it.

    Looks nice, wrong chuck threads.
    Appears very nice, but the chuck is 1 1/2”, not 1”. My wood lathe is 3/4 10, and l cannot find an adapter to fit.
