Wow, this is an amazing tool
It’s easy to use, works exceptionally well in every related task I put it through. Saved me time and eliminated frustration.One thing I noticed that could be improved, but you can remedy it yourself if the manufacturer doesn’t is the following:When working with projects with delicate exterior surface, the magnet could leave black markings. I remedy it by applying a small patch of masking tape on the magnet to eliminate/reduce the possibility of scratches or undesired markings.. you may come up with a better solution but this worked well. The product is solid and well made.. the excellent storage box stores well and keep it organized and ready for future difficult projects.

Great tool, but watch out for your wall
I bought this magnetic wire puller after reading all the glowing reviews, and while it does work as advertised, I wish I had done a little more research before jumping in. The magnet is strong, very strong actually—no doubt about that. It grabs and pulls the other magnet through the wall really well, and in terms of function, it’s pretty easy to use. Definitely makes running wire easier than the old-school methods of fishing tape or coat hangers.But here’s where I ran into an issue: after routing the cable, I noticed a visible vertical bulge in my drywall. At first, I thought I was imagining it, but nope—it’s there. If you’re planning to run cable in a wall that’s going to be covered up or hidden, it’s not a big deal. But if it’s in a spot where the wall is thin, you might end up with an annoying aesthetic issue. Not saying this will happen for everyone, but it happened to me, and now I have to figure out how to smooth it out or live with it.So overall, the tool works really well and does what it’s supposed to do. I just wish I had known about this bulge before using it. If you’re thinking of buying this, just be mindful of that.

Watch vid in there listing. It really works as described. Powerfull magnets surprised me and I have a weird fascination with strong magnets. I’m a field IT Engineer and run network cables constantly. Hardest part running cable is coming up or down inside a wall. Usually use glow rods to fish wall but you never know what’s in the wall that’s going to cause rods to get stuck in the wall or you risk breaking rod because you have to bend them sometimes trying to get them back out of the wall in tight areas and they will break if bent to far or the connection between two rods will break if stressed during bend. This product doesn’t have this problem and I can get a string down and out of a wall in seconds. Tape cable to string and pull it down and out of your desired spot. Magnets are so strong it pulls through tough areas with ease. Love this kit!!! Worth the investment quicker cable runs means better profit for me. Can’t complain about that!!!

Not good for exterior walls; perhaps good for interior
While the principle and working is great on a bear sheetrock, you would struggle on insulated walls. The small bait magnet is not powerful enough to work along the insulated sheetrock. you would not want to make holes to put in the big magnet.While it was a novelty, I ended up making two more holes the clear the path, which ai will need to plug. Plus, the marks that magnet left on sheet rock caused a clean up

Worth every penny!
Worth every penny actually worth several hours of my life.I’ve tried everything for running wires through walls coat hangers push rods fish tape creative swearing you name it. This thing absolutely destroys them all. It is hands down the cleanest fastest and least sanity destroying way to run wire inside a wall.Honestly if I had bought this sooner I would have saved myself hours of frustration drywall dust and questioning my life choices. I almost never write reviews but when a product works this well it basically forces you to.Do yourself a favor stop reading reviews stop overthinking it order this thing and enjoy the rare feeling of a job going smoothly on the first try. Your walls and your blood pressure will thank you.

I wanted a wall light in the hallway but didn’t want to get an electrician to hard wire so I drilled two holes fed the electrical wire behind the plasterboard and put a plug on the end as the socket was nearby. The magnet is VERY strong. Can now put wall lights up around the house on my own, not cheap but well worth the money.
