Excellent product for the price. Made of quality steel this should last a long time since it was designed for pvc pipes.

Great device if it actually worked
This device claims to thread PVC pipe with national pipe threads, NPT. Pipe threads are tapered so that as you screw that parts together, the taper creates a seal. That’s not my experience with these devices. The tap for internal threads only created a slight groove. No way would that create the seal you expect with pipe threads. The die for external threads is a complete failure. The die itself is not the proper diameter to even begin to cut threads. What does work is a PVC pipe reamer.

Disappointed!! I tried the 1/2” external, it does not fit standard 1/2” pipe well, just shaved the pipe thin without creating usable threads. It also creates heat and warped the pipe.

I don’t think this works
I called BS on this product. It would barely put threads on the outside of a three-quarter pipe. It would not do an internal thread on connectors or three-quarter pipe. I assumed I was doing something wrong. I tried the half inch to thread the internal of a three-quarter pipe, it would not work either. I am not sure what they were doing or how they were doing it, but I don’t buy it and won’t again.

It’s not for plastic water pipes more for electric conduit
