This thread burner works better than any other I’ve tried. I like that I can charge it but it never seems to charge all the way. Regardless, it works beautifully.

Ditch the lighter and use this tool in stead!
Perfect for anyone who does machine embroidery. It zaps the stray threads quickly, without having to use a lighter. I was always afraid I would catch my project on fire. The price was great and the tool works perfectly

What a great product!
I love this tool! I’m so happy I found it. I make handbags and pouches and need to melt the thread ends. I had one that was battery operated, but two uses and the battery needed to be replaced. This is great because it’s rechargeable and saves a lot of money on batteries. It also melts better than my other one. It’s a great tool at a great price!

The most useful little tool I never knew I needed …
I am constantly using a disposable lighter to sear the edges of ribbons, belts, strapping and trims, etc. It works, but sometimes you wind up with little soot marks from the lighter, and sometimes you have to cut the edge again and restart … and then one day I saw this pop up in my feed.I’ll be honest, when I first saw it I started snickering. “Why not just use a lighter?!” And then I read the reviews and stuff and thought you know what, let’s give it a try. If it sucks, I’ll send it back.It does not suck. It does exactly what you need to do, with no soot marks, no crooked edges, it just flat out sears off the edges for you (and yes, you can sear two pieces of strapping together with it, as I’ve tried to show with the photos) … it’s honestly just a useful tool for searing anything you need to sear off without any ugly lighter soot mess. It heats up almost instantly, and works very quickly.Worth every cent. I don’t know why I was reluctant to try it, why I thought it would be easier to just continue with the lighters. Now I don’t have to buy disposable lighters anymore, either!

Functionality is great
The functionality of this is great, I purchased it to use with embroidery and it makes a clean “cut”. The handle is a bit odd, to use you have to hold the button down and the placement of the handle is just not in a great place to push it and be able to cut the thread.

Easy to use and efficient thread burner
My old-fashioned battery powered thread burner died and I needed to quickly buy a replacement because I am always in the midst of a beaded jewelry project. This rechargeable version works very well.I was initially worried that it might be difficult to recharge this type of battery because I don’t know much about the various types of electrical connections that are now available. I didn’t want to buy something and not know how to charge it. The problem was solved when I also purchased a new surge protector that included a spot that fit the charger for the thread burner. Now I have a great thread burner and a new charger that safely charges several devices at one time.

Excellent for my crafting
I bought another brand of thread burned from a big box craft store, and the thing just wouldn’t work. I had to struggle to put in the batteries, the battery cap didn’t fit right, and the burner never heated up. This one solved all those problems. Since it is rechargeable I don’t need to fumble with batteries or have the unit fall apart in my hands. The tip heats up fast and does a great job burning the threads close to the work. It’s easy to hold and fits my hand well. I like the digital display so I always know when it is on and what the charge level is. Definitely ticks all he boxes and does a great job.
