This is such a clever idea! My daughter loves pretend play and often pretends she’s a waitress or chef running her own restaurant. She has so much fun taking our orders with this pad and writing everything down like a real server.I especially like that the prices are simple whole numbers instead of things ending in .99. That makes it great for practicing basic math like addition and subtraction. It also opens the door to talking about money—for example, water costs $0.25, which is a great way to explain that it’s one quarter and that four quarters make a dollar.It’s a wonderful mix of imaginative play and learning. My daughter loves adding up the total cost of our orders and “charging” us at the end. The pad comes with 40 pages, which has been plenty for us so far.Overall, this is a really fun and educational toy for kids who enjoy pretend restaurant play!
