Saw Blade Replacement Process:
1. For blade guard: Loosen two screws to remove. Insert new one and tighten.
2. To change blade: Unscrew cover, swing back. Loosen screws and take out old blade.
3. Assemble: Install new blade, tighten screws. Reattach cover carefully.

Good Precise Saw
With battery technology being so good nowadays, air tools feel like a bit of a dinosaur to be honest. I rarely use the ones I have but decided to try this out since I don’t have a comparable battery or corded saw of this size. It’s built ok, about what you see on most budget to mid tier air tools you find all over. I hooked it up and it didn’t leak air, and set about testing it out on some scrap mild steel tube with what I’m guessing is 0.183” wall thickness. It wanted to walk a little bit before it bit into the steel, but once it got started it cut really well. The reciprocating action is pretty tight and precise, not like you see with big reciprocating saws, which helps a lot when trying to make a clean cut on steel. I can see this being really useful in metal fabrication when you’re trying to make a precise curved cut. If it weren’t for the headache of having to drag the air hose out I’d probably find this a lot more useful, but that’s just because I’ve gotten used to 20v/60v tools that work as well as air or corded. It isn’t anything to do with this saw, and looking at this just as how it performs, it’s a great little saw. If you don’t mind the air hose headache, this is a good choice.

Do not buy . Locked up and seized first use . I used it to cut through a plastic bumper . Worked for 5 minutes before it stoped working completely . It’s in the trash now.

Unexpectedly versatile
I misunderstood this product, thinking it was basically a typical Sawzall-type tool that ran on air instead of battery/AC. It is actually a miniature version that isn’t useful for demo tasks or much else of what a reciprocating saw can do. Instead, what it is is a nuclear-powered handheld mini-lightsaber. A typical full-size reciprocating saw vibrates a lot, cycles at a rate one can sort of keep up with and cuts slowly through many materials. This little monster sounds like those aircraft cannon that fire 8000 shells a minute and just slurps through wood with no regrets. I was a centimeter into 1/4″ of mild steel withing seconds. If the scale of your cut is small enough for the 3″ blade, this saw will perform very well.The blades aren’t strong against shear forces though, and they will break if you change direction too much. I was relieved to find that blades are available from many sources; make sure they are air saw blades, flat in the back end, not with the typical shape of reciprocating blades.One thing is that continuous-use tools like this eat up air, so if you have a small tank on your compressor, consider if frequent needs to recharge will be ok for you. But I am definitely a fan of this tool.
