These tools are fantastic additions to extend the use of my grinder! they work extremely well, quickly gouging out holes or grooves. They are only the tiniest bit grabby, so be sure to get a good hold, and then it’s really not a problem. I found that I can even attach them without removing my grinder wheel! Do this at your own risk, of course, but if I just need them for a quick job, I feel pretty comfortable with this, as the threads on my grinder extend out long enough get make a good connection. The rotation direction of the grinder only tightens them down more, so it shouldn’t work its way off. And there are slots so you can use a wrench to detach it if needed. The burrs are large enough, and the metal is plenty hard, that I can’t imagine wearing these down when just using it on wood. I’ve had many times when this would have come in useful in the past, and the next time, I’ll be ready. For example, I have a stump in the backyard I was planning to finish removing and burning the fireplace this winter, and now, I’ll be practicing my decoration skills before it goes.
