UNIVERSAL AND FUNCTIONAL – The sphere rotary burr is designed to fit a standard 4 1/2 or 5 inch American angle grinder with 5/8-11 threads. Just thread directly onto the angle grinder spindle and no adapters needed. Excellent for rough work, moderate shaping, contouring and grinding.
FINE POLISHING TREATMENT – The angle grinder attachments consist of hundreds of aggressive burrs which can quickly remove lots of wood while maintaining a smooth finish and handle wet or dry wood materials, guaranteeing fine and clean grinding of wood.
LONG LASTING ACUTE – Made of steel, the ball grinding wheel has first-class durability with less wear and can serve for a long time, delivering good results in soft wood such as spruce, pine, linden, beech and so on. More durable than sandpaper pads and improve the efficiency.
WIDE APPLICATIONS – Power sphere grinder attachment for freehand wood shaping, hollowing out and undercutting wooden workpieces as well as roughing out a piece of wood. Great for carving wooden bowls, spoons, tree faces and other wooden art.
USE WITH CARE – Wear goggles, masks and heavy-duty work gloves during set up. Use it only after removing foreign objects such as nails from the wood. Be sure to have a firm grip on the angle grinder with both hands and slowly remove the wood. MAX 12000 RPM. An adjustable speed power angle grinder is recommended.

Spoon bowl carver
This is really a pretty good product for the money. It will struggle and burn really hard woods but it works well on the lower hardness woods. Definitely a great way to make a spoon or a small bowl if your into that sort of thing. I would recommend it as the alternative is 4-5 times the price of this product. But be advised that it is common for this and other attachments to get permanently stuck on your angle grinder.

Not safe to use – vibrates terribly
I mounted this in my grinder and when I turned it on the whole thing shook really badly. It is obvious this burr is not balanced and is out of round. It shakes to the point it is not safe to use. I have other burrs I use in my grinder and they work perfectly and do not vibrate or shake so I am confident this is a defective product. I read a few other reviews that also said it vibrates so it appears the quality control is poor on this product. I am returning it.

Second one not balanced.
The first one I bought was great, but was wearing out, so I replaced it, but the second one is not well balanced. Hard to control the angle grinder. Might put it on a bigger angle grinder to see if that helps.

The minute I tried it I knew something was wrong. 😑 I needed it to carve cavities in a piece of wood. The grinder I used works really well usually but with this attachment it was vibrating and oscillating so hard in my hands it was impossible to hold steadily. I ended up returning it and getting a professional woodworking one from a different website, that one did not vibrate and was way more stable. I think it was off axis, the manufacturing of this one or the engineering was not well made.
