Not high carbon steel
I have been using side grinders and die grinders for 50 years now for woodcarving. These bits dulled almost immediately when carving wood. I believe they are made from mild low carbon steel. They will work for ice carvers but not wood. You can see in my picture that I do know what I am talking about. Stick with Kutzall and Saburr bits even the Arbortec shown will hold up.

These are a decent set of wood carving tools. It won’t last forever since it’s not carbide. But it works fairly well.
