Better than I expected!
Better than I expected! They are a bit delicate, but nothing too weak. The kit comes with a carry bag to keep it together. Nothing fancy here, but the lights work very well and put out a nice volume of illumination. I got them on a slight sale and that made the purchase even more worth it.

Great Product
This is a good investment if you are starting to stream. It adds the perfect lighting for you room. I added some wall mounts for it and removed the tripod and it make a world of difference.

Perfect Lighting
This system kicks out allot of light that made my projects perfectly lit in any time of day. I no longer have to wait for the sunlight to be just right to make great content. They were much larger than I had expected, but the light they gave out made the size worth the purchase.

Versatile with adjustable intensity, mode and casting direction.
Pro: Good lamp pair, easy to adjust lighting intensity, mode, and direction. I like that the light can be cast, pivoted and directed in nearly any direction. This makes them more versatile than regular streaming/podcast lighting and more functional than anticipated. The pole is adjustable from 12 inches to 5 feet, starting above the pronged feet. They helped with my Zoom room lighting. A big plus for me is that I can direct the lighting so I don’t have a glare in my glasses while still having even lighting on my face. Con: I wish the legs were adjustable so I could place the lights on my desk, but the leg prongs are not adjustable. They are either up or they are down, and they sprawl too widely for practical use on a table/desk.The lamp is plastic with metal screws. Not the sturdiest plastic, it seems brittle, on the light casing and the led light cover, but sturdy enough on the pole. The pronged leg has aluminum braces. I think the lights will probably last a while if they don’t get roughly handled, knocked around or fall over on a hard surface.

Total RIPOFF!!
These are junk!! they can be turned back on and shut down again in a couple minutes, if it was just one, I might think it was a fluke, but both of them basically have stopped with far less than 50 hours of usage time. Complete junk especially for this price. Total RIPOFF!!

Really Bright for Smaller Lights
I used 4 of these to light up a classroom where I do hybrid training with clients in class and online. They are bright. I put two in each distant corner of the room facing the front where I teach from. They work great so far. Very reasonably priced as well.

This is my review of the Kmasic 2 Pack LED Video Light Kit with 63” Tripod Stand.I’ve been looking for some reasonably compact constant lights for shooting test charts in a cramped space, and these Kmasic light panels really caught my eye.BUILD QUALITYThe housing of the LED panels are made entirely of plastic, with what looks like a flat sheet of metal inside the housing. In this case, it’s not over engineered when you consider they only use about 15W a piece. The LED’s themselves appear to be mounted onto the sheet metal to help dissipate the heat. Overall pretty good for the price. However, I can’t say the same for the light stands. They’re incredibly cheap feeling and do not inspire confidence. They’re also made entirely of plastic. Don’t get me wrong, they’re adequate for this specific use cases with these lightweight panels. But they would easily tip over if knocked off balance.FUNCTIONAs far as using the panels for continuous lighting goes, they do a pretty good job. There’s 3 different color temperatures to choose from, I do not have a spectrometer to test CRI, but I have a colorimeter that accurately measures color temperature.“Warm”- 2584 K“Daylight”- 4376 K“Cloudy”- 8468 KSomething to note, is that there are 2 different types of LED’s in the panel. The daylight or middle setting uses a combination of both LED’s, and it splits the available power between them. This means that the LED panel is actually LESS bright when using the middle color temperature setting. I measured the warm and cloudy to have 40% higher LUX than the middle setting.Based on the eye test and comparing the colour renditioning to Amaran lights, I would say the warm setting has the highest CRI of the 3 colour temp settings. The “Cloudy” setting is way too cool of a colour temp, it mimics an extremely overcast day, but even more blue than that. That’s not to say the CRI is bad, it’s just not comparable to high quality light from Aputure.OVERALLI am pretty content with the value the Kmasic LED panels provide. Even if there were no light stands provided, I’d still think the value is pretty good. I would recommend them to anyone that needs something compact and portable that doesn’t break the bank.

I decided to get this kit because I already had some softbox light, but they are not strong enough to do the job I want. It seemed like this would be the perfect product to add to my kit.Included in the packaging are 2 LED panels, 2 tripods, 2 USB A power brick, a carrying bag and a user guide. Each panel is made out of many LEDS. They can be powered by a USB block or portable battery that can provide 15 watts (5V and 3A). The controls can be found on the USB cable and the adjustments are as follows: an on/off switch, a mode switch to change the temperature between 2500k, 5500k and 8500k, and two buttons to adjust the brightness. For the light tripods, they can be adjusted to a maximum height of 177cm, which should be enough for any kind of project. The panel must be installed like a camera mount. The lights work very well and are strong enough for my use case. The adjustments are more than fine for simple works. One of the things that has to be noted is that the quality and sturdiness of the panels themselves are on the cheaper side. They are fine to start with, but might not withstand the test of time. As for the stands, I would say the same thing. They work well, but are still on the cheaper side. They will do the job, but could be something to replace over time for something less cheap.Even if it feels a bit cheap overall, what you get in the kit for the price is good. It will get you started on your photo or video project for not a lot and should last you for a while if you take care of it. I recommend this kit!
