    Fun Science Activty
Fun activity for kids ages 8-12. My son was so excited when his light bulb lit up. Science and fun go hand in hand. I recommend this activyt.

Great Hands-On STEM Kit That Makes Learning Electricity Fun and Easy
I picked up this STEM Electric Circuit Kit for my kid, and it ended up being one of the best educational toys we’ve tried. The pieces are sturdy, safe, and easy to snap together, which made it perfect for beginners who want to explore how electricity works without getting frustrated. Within minutes, we were already building simple circuits and lighting up the bulb — and watching their face light up was just as good. The instructions are clear and show multiple experiments, so kids aren’t just doing one thing and getting bored. It actually teaches real concepts like open vs. closed circuits, polarity, switches, and power flow, but in a hands-on way that feels like play instead of homework. It’s also great for boosting problem-solving skills and creativity as kids try their own combinations.Whether it’s for a science project or just a fun learning activity at home, this kit delivers. Educational, engaging, and very well-made — highly recommend for ages 6–12.

    Easy to make
These are some simple projects that can teach some basic principles about electrical circuits. Most are easy to figure out. I bought this for my son. We did most of the projects together, but I had to go do something else and to my amazement he did one of the projects on his own! The only suggestion I have is that project where you make a simple machine with a crank could have a more stable design so that the crank can be turned continuously.

    Great for science fair project
I bought this kit for my 11 year old daughter’s science fair project and it was just as I expected and more! It comes with a booklet that is easy to read and understand and explains how electricity works and my daughter was about to understand perfectly! Together my daughter and myself built and displayed each little project as it comes with many different projects to show how electricity powers run through and actually works. Very hands on and safe. My daughter got A plus!!!!

Exactly what I needed to teach the concept of a circuit
My grandson has a busy board with switches that light up a series of colored lights. He wanted to know how the switch turned on the light and why one of them was flickering. I was trying to explain how a faulty, wire or bulb could cause this, and realized that I needed a demonstration. As a former science teacher, I used to go to RadioShack and buy individual components to teach these concepts, but since RadioShack is gone, Amazon was my go to. I was happy to find this little demonstration kit of circuit and battery concepts. The age level on this item is 8 to 12, but with adult help the easier items can still get the concept across. The conduction robot is particularly cute and even though my grandson is only four, he was delighted with it. He can put the batteries in himself and play around with materials that may or may not conduct electricity and light up the little bulb.I do recommend adult supervision and help with a younger child; obviously there are small parts, wires, and some complication to the directions. There are no written directions, only photographs, and the pictures are fairly small, so someone will have to be observant. The insulated wires are pre-cut for size and there is a small cutout in the insulation to make it easier to put the wire through the holes and twist it. The one trouble we had with the kit is that the wire is so fine, it is difficult to manipulate with the insulation off or on. As a result, the bulb did not always reliably light up with a couple of the circuits. The wire has to be solidly connected to the components, and with wire this fine it’s hard to get it on solidly. However, for the price, I’m giving five stars because I was very pleased with what we got in this kit. Everything that was included worked, there were no missing parts, everything was labeled, and all of the kits teach a different concept. It would’ve been a lot more trouble for me to go to RadioShack and pick all this out like I used to do. The fact that the wires can be a little hard to manipulate is actually a good way to teach the concept that a full connection has to be made in order for the electricity to conduct.
