    Kids love it.
My granddaughters ages 3, 5 and 9 love playing with this. Keeps them busy. Good quality. Even the 3 year old can do it.

Well Made Montessori Toy, but Limited Replay Value
I ordered this for my daughter because she kept wanting to “help” whenever I was assembling furniture or using tools. I figured this would be a good way for her to scratch that itch and safely play with something tool-related.The construction is actually very good. The wood feels solid, the pieces are well made, and everything fits together nicely. It definitely feels like a durable toy rather than something flimsy. That said, the novelty wore off fairly quickly. She was really interested in it at first and spent about 30 minutes working through all the screws, locks, and pieces. Once she had figured everything out though, she was basically done with it and hasn’t gone back to it much.Overall, it’s a well-built toy that’s great for introducing kids to simple tools and fine motor skill activities. Just be aware that once they figure it out, it may not hold their attention for long.

    Recommendation👍
My daughter, who has autism, loves all sorts of nuts and bolts, and this game was perfect for her. She really enjoys screwing and unscrewing different bolts, and it’s great for developing fine motor skills. I highly recommend this game! 👍

Useful Concept but Significant Design Issues
This Montessori-style screwdriver board has a solid educational premise and offers a hands-on way for kids to practice coordination and fine motor skills. The beech wood feels sturdy and smooth, and the variety of tools and screw types provides a decent amount of engagement. It is lightweight and easy to bring along on trips, which adds to its convenience. The challenge is that several design choices limit its rating. The screws are very small and they sit loose in the board rather than locking into place. This creates two problems. They can be a choking hazard even for a three-year-old, which is the age range the product claims to be designed for. They are also extremely easy to misplace. A few minutes of play can lead to scattered screws, which defeats the purpose of a self-contained learning tool. The board itself is smaller than expected and feels cramped once all the tools and screws are in use. The side latches are hard to operate in the limited side space, so they do not offer the smooth learning experience you would hope for in a Montessori toy.The idea behind the product is strong and the materials are promising. With better safety considerations and user-friendly hardware, this could be a standout toy. In its current form, it provides some value but comes with enough drawbacks that I can only give it three stars.

My grandson is obsessed with this toy!!
Ordered this for my 4-year-old grandson who loves “working” on things like his dad. HA! It’s my 20-month-old grandson who is addicted to this thing. My 20-month-old grandson is definitely autistic (has been diagnosed on the spectrum). Disclaimer: Now, I know this isn’t recommended for kids that young, but he never puts stuff in his mouth and we supervise his play with it, so we feel comfortable with him playing with this toy. Your situation and your young toddler may be different. My grandson plays with this toy every day, multiple times a day. He already can manipulate all the different screws , knobs, latches, and locks. He doesn’t use the tools included (wrenches, screwdriver), just his fingers to tighten and remove the different type of screws. It may be his autism, but he can spend hours just unscrewing and screwing the wing nuts and screws and knobs on this thing, especially when he’s having calm down time before bed. It also helps calm him when he’s overstimulated, which has been a lot since his mom had a new baby a couple weeks ago. He’s had this toy since Christmas and it’s now the end of March, and this thing has held up marvelously to the hours of daily playtime. My daughter told me just a couple days ago that this was his favorite toy.Overall, I absolutely recommend this tool and hardware board set. It costs less than most other sets on Amazon with similar features and pieces and still looks almost new after 3 months of daily play by rambunctious young boys. At about $17 at time of review, the price can’t be beat. I also have to recommend this to other parents and grandparents of children on the autism spectrum. This toy offers repetition, consistency, and focus which can benefit ASD children in their play. In addition, it can help strengthen and refine their motor skills, which can sometimes be lacking in children with autism. It also provides and outlet for fidgeting and stimming. As an autistic person myself, the mother of 2 kids with autism, a grandmother of 2 grandkids with autism, and a special education teacher, this toy has value far above just being another plaything. I highly recommend this tool and hardware board set.PROS: reasonable price; amazing durability; quality construction; develops motor skills; provides fidgeting/stimming outlet; helps with focus; offers repetition and consistency; educationally and developmentally enrichingCONS: absolutely NONE
