WOD Toys was founded by passionate fitness enthusiasts who are also proud parents of active kids. Seeing parents bring their children to boxes and gyms has inspired WOD Toys to design and create toys that would let children mimic their parents as a form of play while introducing fitness and something they can get a lifetime of enjoyment from.
How did we get our start?
WOD Toys was founded in 2011 from a simple and humble desire to give children the opportunity to safely imitate their parents during workouts.

A little spendy for the quality
I feel this product should cost less for the quality. It doesn’t seem like it’s super durable for the price it costs, but there aren’t really any other products out there like it. So we don’t really have a choice when our toddler wants to be just like dad. All in all our child enjoys it, he likes that he has his own barbell, and can try his own variations of dad’s workouts.

Look no further for a toy barbell!
My four-year-old daughter LOVES to mimic me in the weight room, and she kept begging me for a “bell bar” of her own 🥰 So, Santa Claus brought her this one. I haven’t tried other toy barbells to compare, but I can tell you the overwhelming consensus in reviews of other ones are they they are cheap, flimsy pieces of plastic. NOT THIS ONE. This is strong and durable, and even comes with collars to keep the plastic plates in place. A realistic toy that’s loads of fun!

Best gift ever
While I think it was ridiculously expensive, I bought it anyhow. My son is obsessed and it is worth every penny. It’s a great starter for a young child who isn’t ready for actual weight, but wants to do what they see adults doing at the gym.
