excellent product with excellent value
I have a couple of larger rotary tools and but haven’t had use for one this size. I’ve done delicate projects with the larger tool in the past, but today I had a particular challenging product. I’ve been thinking about it for several days and was dismayed I gave my hanging stand for one of my Dremel tools to my son, which would have made it easier to do this very fragile repair, but who lives out of state.Since borrowing it was impractical, I picked up this tool…the cheapest I could find for what I figured was one time use.I love this tiny tool. So light weight, it was so easy to keep my hand completely steady and view my item. The larger tools can be unweildy for something so fragile and small, but this size was perfect. The power was perfect, the little light that increases visibility is perfect. The case is perfect, ease of use….I really couldn’t ask for anything better. It came with several very small crushed diamond sanding bits, and they were all exactly what I needed to get my item back to almost new condition without causing new damage, which was my concern.Recommended. I didn’t get the advertised gift set, just the basic set shown, but at the time of this review, the basic set includes a charging cable, instructions, 2 small plastic boxes of various bits and discs and mini saw wheels and a wrench (to use the sanding and saw blade wheels and a really small and convenient case–perfect as a small gift, too.I’m beyond pleased and actually know I’ll have a lot more use for this afterall.

Versatile, User friendly tool
As someone with a variety of hobbies, I love having portable tools. This product definitely fills the rotary tool niche in my book.The device is lightweight but solid, allowing for perfect use no matter where. The tool is just as powerful and useful as a typical corded rotary, so there was no discrepancy in comparison to a corded version. The battery life is also very good as well, allowing me to work for more than two hours on a single battery charge.I found the instructions to be wonderfully easy to understand, especially for someone like me who hates setting up new devices. The buttons are clear, and the weight is minimal, allowing for it to rest in your hands like a pen.I also appreciate the wide variety of extras included with the set, and it made for a completely portable version of a standard corded version, just without any hassle. It has worked on all the typical shop craft items I have worked on before without any issue. The use I can get and have gotten out of this device is great.I can enthusiastically recommend this as a gift, or even just for you, especially at this price.

update after leaving the review:seller offered full refund and that means a lot. maybe i just got a dud and good customer service means a loti got this to use on my dog’s toenails but the tip/stem likes to slide out and i can’t seem to fully secure it for more than a minute. the battery indicator is weird too. it’ll appear fully charged when it’s not. i’m still going to keep it because it’s useful and better than my old corded one. it came with a lot of different tips/accessories so that’s a plus for crafty shoppers. i like being able to adjust the speed because my dog isn’t very patient. i wouldn’t have gotten it if it wasn’t a good value for the money.

Works great! Comes with everything you need and a case to hold it all. Got it yesterday and husband tried it out to drill a hole in something for me. He also used the cut off wheel for something else. We have a Dremel but didn’t have a cordless. When I saw this with the attachments at this price I had to try it. It’s lightweight and quieter than our Dremel. I can’t say how this brand would hold up to heavy use but for our occasional use it’s going to be perfect. If you’ve never had one of these tools before you’ll be surprised how many ways you will find to use it and how easy it is to use. It’s just so practical for little projects that need a little sanding, polishing or fixing. It’s great for a ton of crafty things as well. Look up “uses for Dremel” and you’ll be amazed at how useful this rotary tool is! This one has 5 speeds. Changing out tips is a piece of cake. So far we’re pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price and amount of tips you get as well. We recommend you give this one a try!

Nicely made, but lacks substantial power
Nicely made, but lacks substantial power. I bought this because I needed to cut a 1/16″ x ~1″ slit longitudinally in a the middle of a length of 1″ schedule 40 PVC pipe. That doesn’t seem as if it should be a daunting task for a rotary tool but, I had to be very careful not to stall this one out while doing that. I was using a very narrow kerf rotary saw blade of about 1-1/4″ diameter. On the positive side, the build does seem to be of high quality, and there was not much run-out at the shaft. Hopefully it lasts. I would recommend this tool, but only for very light duty tasks. It would probably be fine for engraving.

Works as intended and the case and bits are nice and decently power. The included mini drill bit and the tool managed to drill into hardwood. No complaints.

This thing is killer. For what I paid for it, I wouldn’t have expected this thing to be as light as it is in hand, its got a nice weight and size to it.I havent had any issues power wise as it seems to cut, and drill/finish everything thus far as needed.The speed options are perfect and the power is pretty consistent until close to dead.My wife also gets plent of use out of it for her arts/crafts=jewelery making.
