This mini chainsaw works great! It’s so handy to have and easy to use! I have been cleaning up limbs from the ice storm with this saw, I’m impressed on how much I got done with it! Having 2 batteries is very helpful too!

Perfect Little Powerhouse for Yard Work & Storm Cleanup
I purchased this 6-inch cordless mini chainsaw for light yard maintenance, mainly trimming small tree limbs and cutting down brush that’s too thick for hand pruners. I wanted something compact and battery powered that would be easy to use for quick jobs.Out of the box, setup was simple. The chain was pre-installed, and after charging the battery, the saw was ready to use. I tested it on branches roughly 1–4 inches in diameter, and it cut cleanly without bogging down. Great for the smallish stuff like cleaning up along the shoreline or general limbs, this is a great tweener tool when a chainsaw or sawzall is just too big, i used it fairly consistently for 3 hours going through both batteries, battery life is sufficient, even if this were to die after 20 hours it would be worth it and i would by it or something similar again, mini-chainsaw tool is a great idea and way safer for one handed use when cutting 4” caliper or smaller

Very good saw for trimming
I have a 4 inch version of this saw that I bought a little over two years ago. The batteries don’t hold a charge very well anymore, and a new saw is cheaper than two replacement batteries. This 6 inch version is very similar. Unfortunately the batteries are not interchangeable between the old and new saw. It is great for trimming branches up to about 5 inches, and slices right through old and new oak, ash, and maple. I also use it to cut up kindling, and for pre-cutting branches before going through the chipper. One -handed operation makes this saw easier and quicker to use than lopper. There is no auto oiler but it comes with an oil bottle to use for oiling the chain and groove before cutting. It’s not a hassle to do this, and it keeps the cost down. Also no chance of an oil reservoir leaking all over. It comes with three chains (one installed), two batteries, battery charger, cloth gloves, safety glasses, an oil bottle to use on the chain, and tools to adjust the chain tension and remove the bar and chain.There is a blue saw by the same maker (RLSOO) that is similar but has a different finger guard for the switch. That one looked like it might be too small to use with gloves, so I got the red one that has plenty of room. The red one also looked like it had a better arrangement for the interlock button. It is very easy to reach the button and the trigger without contortions. This saw is meant for right-handed use. It’s a little tricky to reach the interlock with the left hand.Important: There is no chain brake, so the chain will spin for about two seconds after you release the trigger.Overall getting two years use out of one of these is well worth the low price. Any brand’s batteries will not last much beyond two years of medium to heavy use, so no sense spending a lot of money when this saw works just fine.

Very useful and handy.
I love this saw. It’s perfect for things to thick for pruning shears, but to thin for cranking up real chainsaw for. The auto oiler is undependable so I apply oil direct to the chain. It cuts a long time on a battery charge. It has proven to be very handy to have around.

Economical and a great deal. I’ve used this little saw to clear the forest in my back yard and cut up root that stick up out of the ground. What a perfect tool and at a great price. I love it.

Loppers are a better buy.
I do a lot of yard work, a lot. I wanted something to make it easier and someone I know recommended these and I thought lightweight, battery operated, oh, yes!I got them and while they aren’t as heavy as my loppers, and my loppers do exhaust me, I think the loppers are actually easier. With the loppers one cut it’s finished. This isn’t very powerful, so it takes longer, plus with my loppers I can cut into the ground get most of the sapling. With this if you cut to close to the ground the chain drags you into the dirt which isn’t safe and isn’t good for the chain.Because this feels like a toy I had to constantly remind myself of safety, I don’t have that problem with my 14″ chainsaw. Also, I had a few instance of the chain catching on vines and running off…not safe. I actually got it to cut down bamboo, just finger size bamboo, oh, no way, it was ridiculous.There is one size of small tree that’s too big for my loppers but too small to drag my bigger chainsaw out for, where it works.Oh, and those videos of people cutting really big things, think of it as a paid for commercial, maybe it’s possible, but it would work you to death and probably cause an early death to the chain saw. I haven’t tried them yet but I bet those cute small weed eaters with the cutting blade might work better.

When I ordered this Mini Chainsaw, I was worried about the voltage of the battery charger, but when I received it , the charger is 100 ~ 240 VAC which is suitable for all customers countries.However, I have to buy the lubricant oil separately as it’s not included with the set.
