Life of the Party!
This mirror booth is amazing! It takes quality photos, plays music and is THE LIFE OF THE PARTY! This Photo Booth is cool and will have your guest engaged and talking about it for years to come!! It connects to the internet and is android based but has the Photo Booth app so that overlays and cool things can be done to photos that are being taken at events. We purchased three booths, this was the most expensive but the quality of this made it so worth it!! It is heavy! It is easy to use! Lights are super bright when taking pictures. It is a good size for a Photo Booth!

MWE’s Magic Mirror is a stellar piece of equipment. Product was easy to setup. The quality, brightness, functionality and easy of use through Chacktok has made it super easy for our associates to navigate and share photos with others. Shoutout to the customer service rep for walking me through setting up our account and making sure we understood how to use the product. This will be implemented within a delivery station to capture associate moments throughout the year.

Investment, not an impulse buy
This is one of those products where you are not going to just buy it on a whim or on impulse – the price tag alone puts this into the “premium product” category. That said, there are certain things I would expect from an item in this category.This is a HEAVY product; you need two people to transport this. It stores in a very durable and very heavy duty stage equipment case which definitely adds to the image that goes along with this. The first time setup takes a little longer based on size and weight, but the instructions are pretty clear. Once setup and connected to the internet via WiFi or phone hotspot and all system updates installed, the UI is pretty intuitive and easy to navigate. The picture quality on the stock camera is excellent and the app functionality is fun to play with.Now for the drawbacks – the UI likes to lag, especially when you start adding effects and stickers to the pictures/videos. Restarting the app helps but it can make you look less professional if you are using this as a photo booth/side gig. It can also cause your line to build up and frustrate possible users. In addition, even though the instructions show how to setup a printer; there is no printer included. Plan on investing in a decent thermal printer. In addition, to remove the watermark on the photos, you have to upgrade your free subscription to “Pro” at a cost of ~$80 a month! After spending $2600 on the unit, I was not ready to spend an additional $80 a month to simply remove a watermark. The unit also needs to be kept in a clear area with no hanging curtains, backdrops, etc… as it runs very warm with prolonged use.Overall, if you are spending the money on this product, its because you have a need for it and aside the couple drawbacks, it would be a good solution for you. Definitely not an impulse buy item.

Does not come with printer, exorbitant VIP pricing.
There are 2 images for this listing which should be removed, as this does not include a photo printer or a printer of any kind. The 2 images make quite a few references to “paper size compatibility”. “Supports printing on 6, 7, and 8 inch paper.” No, it does not, because it’s not there. There shouldn’t be any mention of paper size compatibility for a non-included non-existent printer. So, -1 star for appearing to come with a printer, when no printer is included.The unit itself is pretty awesome. The software will let you print, store, or upload the images. It has to be connected to the internet for any sharing features, obviously, and it supports both Wi-Fi as well as network cable hookup, and supposedly supports wired and wireless printing as well.The downside is, the unit / app is a bit on the slow side and could use some serious horsepower under the hood. So it’s best for smaller events, not super high traffic extravaganzas. Also, and here’s my biggest gripe, if you want to have non-watermarked photos and videos, you MUST upgrade to the “VIP” subscription for the software. How much is that, you ask? Oh, only around $600 a year if you pay up front, $80 a month if not. Also, HIDING this information, rather than putting it RIGHT UP FRONT, like you’re PROUD of your PRODUCT AND PRICING, would be a real big plus.Why would I have to hunt and search around for the real details on the VIP package pricing, or the fact of the watermark being omnipresent unless you pay to upgrade?Is the manufacturer not proud of these details, that they have to hide them?Point blank, think hard before ordering this. The ~$2600 pricing is just the start. You’ll need another, at LEAST $500 for a decent dye-sub photo printer (most are around $750-$1500 for something extremely capable), and then you’ll also need to drop another $600 a year on the VIP software upgrade. Forever. Pricing subject to change without notice.If they delete the description photos that allude to the presence of a printer, and if they instead post the hard-core real-life details of the VIP subscription plan, how much it costs, and the fact the watermark won’t go away unless you upgrade, I may revise this review. But I’ll need to see that they’ve added all the pertinent details necessary to make an INFORMED DECISION about whether or not to purchase this before doing so. Until then, I gave it 3 stars. -1 star for misleading description regarding a printer, and -1 star for frankly ridiculous pricing for software that frankly makes anything from Adobe seem cheap by comparison. You can literally get a monthly subscription to every single Adobe product for $60 a month. That’s for 20 apps. These guys want $80 a month for 1. Ok, it gets a BIT cheaper if you pay by the year. Still? Utterly ridiculous. 3 stars. Be more honest and upfront. Stop pretending to be a Tier 1 software publisher.
