Dump the Circ Saw for Thin Stock!
I have a mini cutoff tool from this brand and I really like them both quite a bit. I love the immediate autostop feature of this saw. The depth is disappointing but that is the nature of this size tool. I’ve been using it quite a bit lately and there is nothing that I don’t like (besides the depth). It really is a joy to use. I would rather use this than my circular saw when the thickness is thin enough. Lightweight and easy to use.

This is not safe.
For some reason the handle on the saw does not lock when trying to use it. I have read the little book that it comes with, I have watched the video on it. I find this saw to be very dangerous. I have even brought to a man who builds homes for a living. He told me that there is something wrong with it. I do not recommend this product.
