Worked for a whole 2 minutes
Item arrived in a plain box. When powered by a battery appropriate for this model it worked great until the first cut in on 1/2 in drywall when it promptly failed to spin the cutting but at all. Seems that one or more of the plastic gears inside grenaded apart. Will be returning and just buying a name branded corded model. Complete trash.

Works great for $70 less than DeWalt Brand.
This is a powerful cut out tool with a strong brush list motor colostomy less than 50 bucks when needed Dewalt brand costs at least $120. While I do not on the Dewalt brand, I cannot see what would be so different about the Dewalt that would make it worth more than twice as much. I used this is a couple of times and it worked quite well. My Dewalt battery fit just fine. All of these tools are quite noisy so I always recommend ear protection and eye protection. Ships with 2 bits. Comes in a nondescript cardboard box. Includes a wrench. Glad I bought this and would buy it again. Seems like a great value.

Installing celing mount speakers. Started fine then just locked up don’t know if it was the drywall dust or what. The chuck is very hard to turn even with the wrench. I hope Amazon replaces it. It felt good before use but died very quickly.

Nice product for the price.
I bought this product to get my diy project done. When it arrived I opened the box and it was already broken. Which kind of upset me, but Amazon shipped a new one and I received it 2 days later and it was as it was described in the product description. Because I didn’t get to use it for the project I did do some tests and it seems to work well for a good price. It doesn’t come with batteries or any charging system but it is compatible with my dewalt 20v batteries which is very convenient. Which means you don’t have to setup another charging station you can use your dewalt charger. Overall it is good quality for the price. Just remember to check everything when it comes in.
