Great tool – so so manual
The tool itself is quite nice with good heft and balance. The metal shears did well on trial cuts of varying sheet metals. The cuts were clean and smooth. The Dewalt batteries worked well – no issues there.The downside is the paper owner’s manual. It appears to be a marriage of 2 separate items. Mine contained info on a grinder! Nothing on how to rotate head and use of trigger etc. I was asked to look at videos posted for that info.To rotate the head a 4mm allen wrench to loosen the bolt on the cutter head that is closest to the tool body then you are able to rotate the head and retighten. Push the trigger switch to the left to get a continuous and variable speed cut. Push to the right to get a pulse type cutting action (best for curves). The switch center position locks the trigger.Overall, I am very happy with this tool as it should do what I need it to. Clean cuts quickly while saving my hands some grief.

not for clean flat cuts- will warp metal
Works great, Dewalt batteries fit fine and I put it through some tough tests. Rusty metal, occasional double metal on seams and curved areas. Really used it hard taking a fender off a truck basically not caring if it broke and it performed well. In some situations you have to push it pretty hard but if you find the sweet spot it moves fast. I used it on a flat surface where flatness was important and it didn’t do well- it left waves in the metal. For flat true cuts you need to use the shear that cuts out the center- this one will warp metal if you cant let one side drop.

I underestimated the thickness of metal they can handle! My mistake! Good for thin metals so far!

Don’t waste your money on this tool. It’s only good for a paper weight
I received this the day before yesterday. I tried it yesterday and was very disappointed in the cutter! It wouldn’t cut 29 gage sheet metal at all and the jaws on the tool are not adjustable at all and the only part of the cutting jaw that touches the metal is the back part of the cutting jaw you don’t get to use the full cutting surface of the cutter.Don’t waste your money. I’m sending this back
