Worth it!
Autophix scanner was easy to use and gave accurate results. It allows us to turn off the check engine light for an annoying issue. Sadly, the light does come back on once the system detects the malfunction, but it is a simple check using the scanner to turn it off again. Great money and time saver! Worth the money!

Best OBD2 scanner out there, buttons a little hard to press though
Works really well, and is easy to navigate even without instructions. A surprising amount of information on these. It’s extremely easy to plug into your car and get information. My one slight gripe is the buttons are really quite hard to press, you need to apply a lot of force. But overall for the price this is the best one out there.

Affordable,reliability
The Autophix OM 126P arrived promptly and was easy to set up right out of the box. It provides clear, accurate error codes and live data that helped me identify and fix issues with my car quickly. The interface is straightforward and user-friendly — even if you’re not a mechanic, it’s easy to follow. Very satisfied with its performance and reliability. Highly recommended for anyone who wants an affordable, solid OBD2 scanner.

Great simple product
Great scan tool. If you’re a professional and work at a shop I would probably go for something higher quality and with more function but, if your looking for a simple scan tool to keep in the truck then this is it. I use mine every now and then but it is super comforting to know I have a scanner on go in the truck if something were to pop up. Would highly recommend for someone who’s looking for something simple!

Excellent Scanner
Worked perfectly to read all codes on my 02 Boxster. Very quick, clear, and easy to use. Has way more features than I needed this time and feel confident that this would help me do additional testing if required.

Does a great job, once you are familiar with it.
(Update12/11/2025) WOW, what great customer service. They reached out for more info in order to improve their products. They genuinely cared about my review and went way beyond to solve any issues I may have had. I love using products that value their customers input and strive for improvement. As I am not the brightest bulb, but I still recommend to others that may understand how to use these types of products. I give a full & toal endorsement for this company. “Thank you for your attention to this matter.”(Old review)Once you figure out the buttons, you can get info. Not a clear direction for getting the data needed, very confusing. It works, but just not a great set-up. Doubt I would order again, but reviews seemed good. Probably an operator issue. The case is very nice, but the cord is fairly short. Will continue to find something better, but will say it does produce info.

Save time and gas
Nice compact design to be stored without taking up space and portable to take on the road. Has excellent accuracy for diagnosis of engine signals. Simple plug-in. Will save your wallet from gas runs. If you’re a simple DIY hobbyist or a mechanic, you’ll like this device in your toolbox.

The day this arrived, my husband told me that the engine light had appeared on our 10yo Kia – which we have been having troublesome issues with for the past few months! We discussed having to decide if this was the final straw – it might be too expensive to fix. Knowing nothing about running code readers, I followed the poor direction and tried to figure out what the buttons would do. I found the port and connected it as directed, turning on the car to engage the system. I finally found the code I needed – but it couldn’t tell me exactly what it was. After looking through the “safety” tests, tried the emissions testing, which were again very confusing and I wasn’t sure what I was looking at. I then went google to look up this code, which was causing not only the engine light, but limp-mode to be engaged. My husband had “limped” home only able to go 60kmph.That’s when I became VERY thankful – for this unit, and the information I came across online. It saved us TONS of money that would have been spent trying to find the root cause. This little unit could have come in handy as we struggled to find out exactly what the issues were months ago, but going forward I feel confident we can see the issues for ourselves, without the possibility of being misled by dishonest auto mechanics. This code armed me with the information I needed to be able to call the dealer and explain the problem.I have never used a code reader before, so I figured it out by trial and error. I would have loved to have seen better directions, and explanations of terms, even a video to explain what all the scans mean. For that reason, ONE star has been deducted.I will definitely use this on our other vehicle to see if it can diagnose another issue. I like the waterproof pouch it comes in, to keep it clean and contained.

I’m definitely not a mechanic, but with three kids and two vehicles, having something like this OBD2 scanner on hand has actually been a game-changer. We had a warning light pop up on our older vehicle, and instead of heading straight to the shop and bracing for bad news, I plugged this in and got answers right away. It gave me a code, told me what it meant in plain language, and even let me clear it once the issue was dealt with.I liked that I didn’t need to fuss with my phone or download sketchy apps. Just plug it in, turn the key, and it’s working. The screen is easy to read, and it gives a surprising amount of info—like live data (coolant temp, RPM, all that stuff I didn’t think I’d care about but actually found helpful when our car was acting up). I even used it on my brother’s car and felt oddly proud when I figured out his issue too.My only real complaint is the instructions. They’re… not great. If you’ve never used a code reader before, you’ll probably end up Googling a few things or watching a YouTube video to get your bearings. Once you do, though, it’s smooth sailing.Bottom line: I like knowing what’s going on with our cars before paying someone else to tell me. This little gadget paid for itself the first time I used it.
