Been wanting one of these for a long time. Finally got it. Works on my Mini and all my other vehicles. Worth every penny and more. Should have bought one years ago. Ran one test on my truck and in paid for itself on the first day I owned it. Found out the shop did not fix what they said they did. Fault code proved it. Very easy to use and understand. My 2nd Mini Cooper specific scan tool
This is the 2nd Mini Cooper specific scan tool I have purchased, and 3rd that I own. It is small with a cord that could reach across the car from left to right. It has many of the features of previous scan tools, but advertised it would do ‘battery registration’ when replacing the 12 volt battery. Mixed results when Google searching on the topic indicated my year & model required it. However, after choosing that during Setup, the option never presented itself. I don’t know if my year & model Mini does NOT require it, or if the feature is not present in this tool. It did display 2-3 other DTCs that my others did not. The BT option to phone with real time performance data is a nice feature. I would recommend it for features that were available to use.

Works with G15 8 series!!
One of the few models out there that works for G15840i. Dont expect it to fully retract the rear brakes for pad replacement service.Diagnostics very comprehensive.This one is a keeper for sure.
