Great Product, Great Features
I decided to finally upgrade from my $40 scanner I bought from Amazon about 5 years ago and went with this scanner. First off it’s very affordable for the features it comes with. I’ve seen reviews of people saying it’s difficult to use and what not. For me it was fairly simple. Yes, it was a bit of a learning curve but not difficult by any means. It will read engine, transmission and Abs codes. My favorite feature is the ability to connect to an app on your phone which lets you really see the different possible fixes for your code as well as it give you links to where you can buy the parts you need to fix your issue. You can see live data, but the best feature I found was you could get a vehicle history report through the app for only $10 which is much cheaper than car fax. For someone who flips cars that is an amazing affordable feature. I still have yet get a good use out of it, but from what I’ve seen it is a great product 100% recommend.

Great device with a ton of features
The 5310 is very lite weight and easy to handle when working in the floor of my vehicles. Screen is very bright and easy to read. Cable is more than long enough to stand and review the data while connected. My one complaint is no paper quick start guide. It is difficult to read the online manual while connected via Bluetooth to the 5310. Flipping between the 5310 app and the online guide is a challenge when starting up and, especially, when accessing advanced features. I was pleased to find the 5310 would reset my minor error codes (gas cap issue).

Clears SRS codes and more
Very good scanner, and the price is right! I had a seat restraint system fault code on my Mercedes, and the dealer wanted big $ to make the repair. With this little jewel, not only can I find and fix my problems, I can also help my friends and neighbors.

Vendor needs to provide a manual or make the app more intuitive
I purchased the device because it was capable of receiving SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) codes and it did in fact return a warning “Open or increased resistance in Driver’s Airbag Inflator”, but without a specific code(s).However, it was difficult with very meager instructions included to figure out how to get this information. The device also did not link well or at all to the mobile app and therefore didn’t record any data or report of active systems as advertised. I suspect it might do this if again, I had any instructions on how to use the tool. In summary, a capable tool I believe, if you can download a manual, but the app was NOT intuitive and so linking and requesting data capture was very frustrating.
