Interesting that the grip says Lithium( and the manual), however, I suspect the batteries are Nimh based on the charger and charging time. Out of the box, each battery took 1.5 hrs to fully charge. I dont like to leave Nimh on charge after fully charged without a cutoff or maintenance mode. . Bummer, I’d like to leave batteries on charge alI the time. Im guessing a ‘full discharge’ recharge will take longer. However, this will fit my need as a light use drill. Agree with all the other comments…ie weight, comfort, value, etc. The manual says it should have a low and high speed(1 and 2) setting but this does not have one. Yes it is variable speed so that doesn’t really affect me that much. The ‘handling instructions’, not a ‘User Manual’ has a very impressive ‘Safety rules’ section for those not familiar with power tools or first time users. The instructions (manual) shows a pic of a different battery and charger than what I received. If this performs as a light duty rechargeable drill, I’ll buy another because I do need another light duty drill. Finally, as a caveat, the ‘handling instructions, page 1 does say that the mfgr reserves the right to change specifications without notice. That might explain some differences I saw when I received the unit.

This cordless drill/screwdriver is perfect for me. It’s lightweight, good size for women or if you just want something on the smaller side. Although it looks and feels a bit cheap, it works fantastic and the battery life seems good. I’ve used it several times and it works great!

Returned as it wouldn’t charge. However I was refunded my full purchase amount. The drill itself is nice liiking and very sturdy.
