Very good value
This scanner for Mercedes vehicles is really good very good programs and will access all systems on the mercedes and that is alot. I changed the battery on my 2020 GLE350 and I had to reset alot of system after a little reading I was able to get to the correct programs this little scanner has an amazing amount of information exclusive to Mercedes I am a retired auto technician and was a drivability tech for the last 20 years of my career I have used alot of systems to diagnose problems but this has to be one of the best and the price is very reasonable

Excellent diagnostic tool.
It works as you would expect, it tells you the problems and possibly clears them. Somes problems cannot be cleared and requires knowledge of how to fix the issues. If the tool actually can tell you how to fix these issues, step by step, then you could put mechanics out of business.

Worked with a VS30 Sprinter van
Worked great for my 2020 MB Sprinter 2500 4×4 (VS30). This worked as a bi-directional reader and code fault clearer for my Sprinter van. It was super easy for it to read the VIN and then run diagnostics across all of the systems.This van is a camper van build so I was able to clear all of the lighting electrical faults from when I disconnected and replugged in the cab lights.I was able to identify the issue I expect the mechanic will need to fix, and now have some peace of mind before I get a big bill assigned to the problem!

Got this for my Mercedes Sprinter Van and it saved me a trip to the service center, just before a long trip. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts, is it would not read the VIN. I had to manually enter the 17 digit number. That can be tedious. Otherwise it worked great. I’ve not tried it on other vehicles but suspect it would work fine. I’ll try it just to see if it checks all systems, even if there are no check engine lights. Also, very easy to download error codes on the micro SD card and plug it into a laptop, once you download the PC or Mac application.

Reads codes Doesnt clear stored memory – Doesnt seem to be for a 2019 Sprinter 3.0L diesel?
Several problems so far. Bought this for a 2019 MB Sprinter 3.0L diesel. First it will not link up via the VIN process, or manually. In manual, there is nothing in the menu that remotely resembles a selection for my vehicle. Not even VS30. I tried them all anyway. So I just read the codes from the diagnostic Icon menu option.It did identify a P2196 (O2 sensor). It would only clear the temporary codes. Not the the P2196 code stored in memory. A DIY replacement on the sensor would not clear the stored code, nor would this iCarSoft scanner.MB Dealer had to clear the code. Which cost $. I could have obtained the same result having an auto parts store scan it for me.Software update doesn’t follow as given in manual. So far unable to reach iCarSoft to talk to someone live.Tried calling the listed number for iCarSoft several times well within their listed hours. Ring no answer. No message, doesn’t go to voice mail.Tried emailing to get a live contact for more details and to walk through a software update. They emailed me back and provided a link to a youtube video made by a third party. Which was all over the place, with a different model/version. With the only other email content. “Have a nice day”.Their customer service must not exist? I recommend paying more for a different brand.A waste of money so far.

Worked great for almost a year then just stopped working on my 04 SL500 and my buddy’s 2015 slk. YMMV and just get an xentry kit (dont pay more than 450 for u ur getting ripped off

Success! This Scanner works on my Mercedes 2006 SL500 after buying, and returning, two others.
This scanner worked exactly as advertised on my 2006 Mercedes SL500. I had purchased two other (top five) scanners that were highly rated, and, for different reasons, they did not work to the point that they were of no value to me. I tried to work with the manufactures without success and ultimately returned both scanners. This scanner successfully accessed all systems, read the codes, and erased codes that were current. It also has a test activation feature that you can use on some systems to run them through a test cycle. Needless to say, it was frustrating to get two scanners in a row that didn’t work. I’m an engineer and mechanic so I know how to use a scanner. This one works for me!

Only reads codes for older model Mercedes…We have a 2003 Kompressor & a 2007 C230. Can’t access running the tests etc. This is still a useful tool.

Worked extremely and identified the problem I was having with dashboard error lights.Make sure you update the software first via the website. Mine was for Mercedes vehicles and intially couldn’t find my Vito based camper van listed, but found it under the Sprinter grouping.A great investment as Mercedes have a reputation for failed sensors and this highlights which is causing the problem.
