Like the reset option that it has.
Very easy to use. Actually helped reset the error code when my truck had a sudden hiccup on a rainy day. For some reason, only two minutes out of the driveway an error code showed up, indicating a temperature sensor problem. After using the tool and seeing that sensor problem, I used the “reset” function to see if it might come back. Two months later, it never reappeared. “Knock on Wood.” The display is easy to read and easy to attach to the vehicle. I would recommend it to a friend.

I got a great price on this one… I mainly use it to clear the computer before taking it in for a smog check… It clears the check light caused by a 20 year old catalytic converter and I can pass my CA smog test… Yea!

It works OK but I was expecting more.
I found this scanner to be well built and functions OK. But it did not meet my expectations of clearing errors and dashboard warning lights like I expected to.

I purchased this to replace another scanner. The old scanner would not clear a permanent code for a minor emissions leak. My mechanic told me the scanners need to have the latest software to be able to function fully. So, thanks to the need for updated software, I purchased this reasonably prices unit. And it did it’s job. I was able to clear all the codes including the previously inerasable permanent emissions leak code. I’m happy with the purchase and have recommended to my friends.
