The Tool I Didn’t Know I Needed!
This works great! Makes cleaning brushes a breeze. Gets all the hair out. Good for cleaning vacuum toilets and hair brushed.

It works! (If you put in the elbow grease)
Honestly, I wasn’t super optimistic about this tool, but I have long hair and a vacuum with a roller brush that can’t be removed for cleaning, and I was desperate for anything that could help. I’ve hacked at this vacuum brush before with scissors, knives, you name it, and while that’s helped, nothing’s ever actually gotten all the hair out…. until this. Was it easy? No. It took 10 minutes or so of me hacking away at my vacuum, and it hurt my hand a bit because the thing is kinda hard to hold. it was also a bit of a trick to get the right angle, but at the end of all of that, my vacuum brush is actually free of hair for basically the first time since I first bought it. I don’t really care that it wasn’t easy, because this is the first thing I’ve tried that actually had results. This is going to help my vacuum’s functionality SO much. I would also imagine that if I use this after every pass with my vacuum, it won’t be so hard next time because there won’t be so much buildup.Overall, glad I bought this!

Yes, it’s simple. Yes, it works.
I love this little thing. After stabbing myself with scissors trying to remove hair (both mine and my long-haired cat’s) from my vacuum beater bars, I knew there had to be something better. This is is. The tool is sturdy, seems to be of good quality, and is quite inexpensive. The handle is textured to give you a good grip, and the teeth really work to saw through through those tough tangles if it’s been a while since you cleared your beater bars.My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with some kind of optional lanyard to attach to my vacuum cleaner, but I’d probably lose it if there were.

It Really Works!!!!!
I bought this to clean the hair from a small round hair brush. The bristles are staggered as opposed to in a row, so I thought cleaning it would be a challenge. I was pleasantlty surprised by how this simple tool effectively removed the hair from the brush. It looks brand new now! I’m a “gadget girl” and this definitely ranks among my top 10 favorites 🙂

Great little tool!
This works very well for cleaning the roller brush on my Kirby vacuum. At times I have had to use scissors to cut the hair off the roller. Not anymore.!

Does not work very well
This item didn’t work very well of removing hair in my hairbrush. Will have to try it on other items.

Love it, it gets the job done, but I wish for one improvement or a sister product
Like I mentioned in the title, I really love this little gadget. To give you a little insight, I have medium length hair and shed, I also own (6) small and medium sized dogs, two of which are long haired, and I can’t forget my (3) cats! My Dyson vacuum cleaners take a beating for sure, I keep a rechargeable stick vacuum on each floor of my home and have a large unit for heavy duty vacuuming upstairs where we still have carpeting. When some of my longer hair gets wrapped around the beater bar, it collects all the pet hair along the sides, thus reducing the working suction area of my vacuums. I got this little gadget and stick it into the wound up hair and pull. Once the wrapped hair is cut, I grab one of the cut ends and pull it out. I do this weekly with my Dyson stick vacuums, and as needed on the big upright. It works great and keeps that gunk from building up on the beater bar.I also use it to help pick pet hair out of the wheels on my rolling computer bag and office chair. If I don’t clean these out every 3 months or so, the pet hair builds up and the wheels stop spinning. I can get the majority out with this little gadget, if I need to dig deeper I use a seam ripper, some cheap tweezers and a plaque scraper tool to get into the little crevices for a full clean to make the wheels functional. Now, here comes my suggestion; make one with a longer handle…PLEASE! I clean the lint out of my dryer regularly, my sister had a small fire at her house years ago because the lint got built up in the exhaust tubing. That stuff is flammable AF, I was there and able to extinguish the fire quickly so other than some charring on the front of the dryer and replacement of the exhaust tubing, all was good. She got a much needed lesson on fire extinguisher use! After that experience, I clean the screen throughly after each load and deep clean at least once a month with this little attachment for our shop vac that actually snakes through the dryer into the exhaust tubing. Now here is where this tool would be even better…the grill that sits in front of the lint screen always gets hairs wrapped around the area where this screws into the dryer itself. If too much hair collects I start getting error codes for low air flow and the dryer won’t start. Since the slot is just thick enough for the dryer screen, or the snake I use to deep clean lint, I can’t get a good grasp to yank that wrapped hair. I normally use some needle nosed pliers but it is hard to manipulate in such a small area so doing this takes an hour just to clean that lip area where the grill attaches.I thought this would be perfect, but this is a little bigger than a key and I can’t get my hand in the slot, just my fingers so I was worried that I would drop it in the exhaust line. If the manufacture were to make a sister tool with a longer handle, it would allow LG and Samsung appliance owners to clean that lip in a zip!

Doesn’t actually cut pet hair
This is no better than using a pair of scissors. It wasn’t sharp enough to cut through any pet hair on my vacuum. It went right in the trash

I bought it to use with a sweeping brush we use on our wooden floors which gets loaded with my wife’s long hair – excellent in use, pulls away all the hair easily along with any dust ball collection. Very good wee tool but slightly expensive for what it is, and does!
