Gets the job done, but could have been so much better…
First off, yes, this thing works as promised. With minimal effort, it got my really nasty baseboards (two dogs, three cats, years of neglect–and white paint to boot) very clean, with fairly minimal effort. But, there are at least three major problems with this, all of which could easily have been made right, that keep it from being what it should have been:1) The handle WILL NOT stay tightly screwed in no matter what you do. I’ll likely resort to using tape to keep mine tight, but that’s pretty lame, don’t you agree?2) The pads are very absorbent, but no matter how hard you try, you cannot wring them out. The result is a mess beneath the baseboards you are cleaning, and worse, a drippy mess back to your sink or bucket afterwards.3) The head is fixed in place, and it should have been made to pivot. I assumed it would pivot initially, and fortunately, I didn’t try too hard to make it move, or I may have broken it. Nope, it’s molded plastic and fixed in place, so you have to contort your arms and hands into weird angles to make up for this.For what this cost, especially, these things should have been addressed. But at the end of the day, I’m admiring my shiny baseboards and relatively satisfied, regardless.

Helps my back but needs improvements
This does help me clean the baseboards without having to bend or squad down, I wish the pole is more sturdy. When I put any pressure down to clean the pole will bow a little bit, makes me worry about it breaking…The head piece also keeps unscrewing itself, I’m going to try using some thread seal tape to see if it helps.The head piece also kept on turning too easily and I can’t tighten it any more to make it turn less, and when it turns it will slide off the baseboard then I would have to readjust it before continuing cleaning. Not sure if that’s part of the design or a defective product…Overall, it is a very good tool to save your back, but maybe it’s more compatible if you are only doing quick light dust cleaning.

This is my second time ordering this product and this product is easy to use and has made cleaning baseboards so easy. I literally spray some product and run this thing across it and it does wonders. It’s also small enough to get into those little spaces like behind your toilet and around standing sinks.

Not worth the money or effort
This is the least effective cleaning tool I have purchased. The plastic piece at the cleaning head moves side to side with Ann outing clicks but is fixed so it cannot move up or down which makes it more difficult to use. The pads are not cut at a specific size. The ad leads you to believe it fits securely at the lip of the baseboard but it does not. I also do not feel it cleans well which is the point. It is faster and more effective for me to bend down and do the work or use a small pet vac .

Love this mop. No more bending over to clean the baseboards or drag a chair around to clean the top of the doors.Comes with 2 removable cloths which are easy to clean, really good velour stick on, can use the pads either dry or wet. Wipes all the dust off what more could u have on your baseboards! Some of the reviews say won’t scrub clean, it’s a mop of course it won’t, if u have scuff marks or stains then of course it won’t come off with a mop, u need to scrub with a magic eraser and some elbow grease.

This gizmo does save one from bending to clean the baseboards. I do have a complaint though. The cleaning pad is really difficult to remove from the unit as the Velcro is incredibly strong which makes it difficult for arthritic hands. Secondly, even though I squeezed the water out of the pad before attaching it to the pole, I found that, when applying pressure to the baseboards to clean them, water dripped out of the pad necessitating having to get down to wipe up the wet. The cleaning pad is made out of some unusual fabric and it does not want to hold the water you put on it.

This was perfect for all baseboards in my home, but what I love most is that it makes it so easy to clean behind tv stands, heavy furniture and headboards of beds without having to struggle to move furniture! Also makes the job a lot quicker
