I was reluctant at first as always when buying something new that I have heard about, but not used yet. I read the reviews, dug around little bit and decided to get this set. I’m an advid woodworker and hobbyist. Once I got them, used them to their extent, I was very happy with the look and feel, and sharpness. They were smear resistant, and they were more than durable the more I used them. They come with plenty of refills, happy about that for long term use, before having to buy refills.

Good pencils and markers!
I work with sheet metal mostly, but besides Galvanized metal, the pencils mark well, brick and wood is very visible and the thick lead has been very durable so far!

Great price for a lot of marking ability.
These “pencils” have really changed how I function in the shop and on the job. I saw another building using one and thought I’d check it out, and I’m glad I did. These mark well with lead that is soft but not too soft. The line quality it sharp and they mark well on wood and other surfaces. I haven’t tried the colored leads yet but I have used other lead pointers in the past and expect they will mark similarly. The build quality is good and they work without issue. Built-in sharpener on the butt end of the pencil means I always have a sharp tip for precision marking. They don’t weigh much, but still seem durable enough, I had one sitting in my tool box loose and it didn’t break or bend with other tools jostling around in the box with it. Haven’t used the pens yet but I did buy this for the pencils…so should you.
