Beat my expectations!
This kit beat my expectations. The box has more than advertised such as pull handle locking and smooth functioning soft close drawers. It’s built rugged with plenty of room for all of the foam trays, if you choose to go that root. I’m a mechanic and had to consolidate most of the tools but great system for staying organized. This entire kit, no matter which option you go with, is a great buy for what you get. I’d recommend this to anyone needing these tools for their profession. (MEGAMOD 1268)

Main box arrived mildly damaged but the tools are great.
Like the title said the main tool box is made from 22 or 20 guage steel and looks to have been damaged during or before shipment as there weren’t any signs of box damage. The tools are perfect for my work and the foam organizers are of a high quality. I decided on gearwrench 1024 kit because of the warranty and youtube reviews showing stress testing. All in all I’d recommend this kit to others.

AMAZING – Best Toolbox on the Market!
While everybody is raving about their $15k toolbox that comes with no tools, I’m here admiring how great the Gearwrench Megamod is. I’m a small fabrication shop business owner and I happened to run across this box and it was a no brainer. We struggle with tools “walking off” due to all of the employees that use them. This box was an immediate solution to solving that problem. I purchased the 873 piece set and it provides more than enough tools for everything that we do. It had a designated spot for each and every tool and that allows me to use a check in and check out sheet to ensure each tool makes it back to its place. At the end of the day I have an employee that checks it over to be sure everything is there which is easy due to the organization. The shipping was also quite fast. We shipped to a business so it came on a freight truck and the unloaded with a liftgate. It was packaged extremely well and all the tools came in the trays so putting it all together took less the 15 minutes. Overall, I’d recommend this to anybody that needs quality tools and a quality box to store them. It’s a great price and we get continuous compliments on the box and tools! Plus it looks great next to our machinery!

Who designed the 1024 piece kit?
Words fail to describe how disappointed I am with the boxes and the tool trays. I knew foam tool trays would be inefficient for storing all these tools but I was prepared for the horrific improper pairing of box and toolsets.The box is too small to even compare with something similar from SnapOn, Matco, or even harbor freight. It’s so ridiculous that I considered posting the box and or the tools for sale before I even finished unpacking the tools.There is no way to efficiently store tools with this setup. You can’t put all the sockets of a size in the same drawer let alone storing the ratchets with them. It’s just frustrating. The whole reason to buy a kit like this is the organization. Yet, there is no organization!!!
