Works great for me. A few notes:
I was skeptical after reading some other reviews but when it arrived even more so because the box is so tiny. I put it together and it is really good. No complaints really since it is universal. The only way I think it could be better is if it was specifically designed for the tools you have. That isn’t really possible though.Things to note:M12 tools with 3 cell batteries won’t hang on the rack but if they have a 6 cell battery they will hang from the battery.Ratchets and 90 degree impacts will fit 2 in a slot – see picture.Even my tiny M12 5.25″ circular saw won’t fit below the top shelf.Be careful with M12 batteries laying on the shelf. If the paint wears off the shelf wires it could short out the battery terminals.I have to move the handle straight down on my Dewalt hammer drill because it won’t fit with the handle folded to the side. – See pictureIt isn’t much good for chargers since there is no way to mount them to the shelves. Maybe some metal straps with nuts and bolts to hook into the mounts and go through the wire shelves would work but I think mounting them to the wall next to this shelf would be the best solution since if they are mounted on the shelves the battery has to slide up and back to come off the charger. If you don’t have room for the full length you don’t have to use all 4 sections. It will bolt together fine with any number of the sections.Someone complained that you have to be really careful with the order of assembly otherwise if you make a mistake you have to completely take it apart. I can’t figure out what they were talking about. The sections all use through bolts so it seems like it would be simple to remove any single part on its own. The only thing I can see you might get wrong is installing the wire shelves upside down so the wire is toward the bottom rather than the top. There might be some reason you would want it that way.I screwed mine to a scrap of 3/4″ plywood before hanging on the wall. It is very solid.

A pain to assemble but so much shelf space for tools
This tool holder was a pain to assemble. I screwed the bottom part that holds the drills to the vertical ends support per the instructions. Then I installed the middle and top shelves, but realized a couple of times that I had installed one upside down, so I had to go back and unscrew/rescrew them in properly.By the time I was done installing both shelves, the middle shelf didn’t reach the right side of the vertical support; there was a quarter-inch gap. So I had to loosen all the screws and used a speed square to find that the shelves weren’t at 90 degree angles from the vertical support. I pushed, pulled, twisted, and got the angle somewhat correct and tightened up all the screws. Then I saw that the far right section was angling upward. So I used a hip and hands to bend this thing until all the shelves looked (almost) horizontal and level.I dread installing this on the wall and will need help. I didn’t realize that this rack is four times the length of my current rack. I can’t wait to load it up with tools, batteries, and chargers so I have everything in one place instead of scattered about. It’s a good product with plenty of shelf space, but the length make squaring everything difficult.

    LOT OF WORK!-not worth it.
LOT of work to assemble! and lousy instructions. If you have nothing to do with your life, are perhaps a prison inmate (need to be sharing a cell-needs 2 people), or like puzzels, this may be for you.Parts are poorly machined, metal qualty of screws and bolts poor, and supplied tools are cheap and inaeduate to assemble in a reasonable amount of time.

This has been a great organizer for finding your power tools and their battery pack. It is easy to put together and you can easily tell everyone where to put your tools at.

Perfect to store and keep lots of tools organized and have them still visible!

  11. Matt Ursan

Pretty good unit overall . It does organize things and looks nice . Construction is a little on the cheap side , should be priced lower honestly . It showed up with all the hardware and was a breeze to assemble. Was it worth it ? Id say so .

Manufacturer forgot to drill the screw holes in the shelves. Also the powder coat is missing and the unit is already rusted in spots. Can’t even make it work….has to go back.
