Perfect Replacement Battery for My Greenworks 80V Mower
I bought this replacement battery specifically for my Greenworks 80V lawnmower, and it works like a charm. The fit is perfect — snaps right in without any issues.What really impressed me is the extended runtime. Perfect backup battery for Greenworks 80v tools
Bought this battery as a backup for my current Greenworks 80v tools including leaf blower, string trimmer, hedge trimmer, chainsaw, and lawn mower. Shipping is very fast. I got the package the next day of ordering. The video shows what I got and how it exactly looks like. I did test the battery on every tool I have. All matches and works well.The first Greenworks 80v tool I have is the leaf blower which was bought 10 years ago. It came with a 2AH battery and charger. I was so happy with the performance so that start my collection, and last summer I bought a lawn mower which came with a 4AH battery. Although the two chargers looks different just like two generations, they both fits the new battery well, I was using the old grandpa version charger to charge, it actually charges fast, takes less than 1 hour from empty to full.Using the leaf blower with new battery for a real yard work, it is powerful and feels a little bit lighter which i think is a big plus than the original 2AH battery, however last much longer.Overall I’m happy with the battery.

I’m always scared about trying a non-GW battery for my GREENWORKS. I bought one before and felt really SCREWED. It worked for about 6 months, and died. This BATTERY really works. The power is as good as the original GW battery. The price is outstanding! It does go in a little tight, but if it lasts as good as the original, I will be happy at paying one third of the Greenworks price for a new battery!!!

Good runtime improvement but takes longer to charge fully
Picked this up as a replacement for my original 2.0Ah battery that was barely lasting 15 minutes on my leaf blower, and I’ve been using it for about three months now. The runtime difference is definitely noticeable – I can now get through my entire front and back yard cleanup on a single charge, which used to take two battery swaps with the old one. The 5000mAh capacity really shows when using power-hungry tools like the chainsaw or hedge trimmer. Installation was straightforward, fits perfectly in all my tools just like the original battery. The battery indicator lights are helpful for knowing how much juice is left. However, the charging time is significantly longer than the smaller battery – takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge compared to maybe 45 minutes for the 2.0Ah version. The battery does feel noticeably heavier, which becomes apparent when using overhead tools for extended periods, but the trade-off in runtime is worth it for most jobs. I’ve used it in both hot summer weather and cooler fall conditions without any issues. The build quality seems solid and it hasn’t shown any signs of wear or performance degradation yet. One minor complaint is that it doesn’t always seat perfectly in my older leaf blower on the first try – sometimes need to wiggle it a bit to get the connection just right. For the price difference compared to genuine batteries, it’s been a good investment and has made my yard work much less frustrating without constant battery swaps.
