Does what it says – read the warning at the end
I bought this because my Case TR320 was throwing multiple codes and was in limp mode. The only other option was to take it to the dealership an hour away. Since it was throwing an emissions code (EGR) I was able to clear the codes and it will run perfectly. So now, until I can get a new EGR valve, I just have to turn the key, plug this in and clear the codes every time I need to use it. It does feel fairly light, but it does what it should. WARNING: This thing does not have a battery as it pulls power from the machine (unless you buy the power plug option) and you will also need WIFI the first time you turn it on. Beware- if your machine is out in the middle of nowhere like mine was you’ll need to active the hotspot function on your phone the first time you use it. It was worth every penny though!

Language translation and incorrect codes numbers.
Tried this unit on several Case construction tractors, 580, 570, etc.I did perform an update before taking it out to the equipment.It did clear codes as expected.The problem is with the code information that it displays. Codes do not match the codes from the cluster display. Also the description has and obvious translation issue and does not make sense for the code displayed.I returned the unit as we can not waste time chasing incorrect code numbers or descriptions.

Does not have the correct plugs for some applications
Does not have the plug for cat excavator or bobcat equipment. Does work well on medium duty trucks, industrial deere, cummins and Isuzu engines. Have used it enough that I am happy with it, but I bought it specifically to plug into a Cat excavator initially.

Get the light out!!!!!!!!!!!!! EASY
This item does everything that it states it can do. Nice to find out what has caused your check engine light to turn on before you take it to be repaired. Saves getting ripped off by shops telling you, you need a new engine when all that is required is a new thermostat.It’s high quality and easy to use. The price is well worth it.Would highly recommend this product.

Does NOT work with OBDII light trucks or cars
Have not had much use of the scanner yet, but it did connect with our street sweeper(Peterbuilt/Paccar and John Deere) and Case Construction equipment. Like the title states-it will not work with light duty OBDII vehicles, hoping it would because of the connector available. I will be ordering an additional unit to be able to force regen those diesel units and read basic codes.

Great Tool..
I use it for diagnose my car nissan Murano. It showed me exact errors. I replace the bad sensor which i had issue and my mechanic had old one on-which he wasn’t able to find it. Also it mention the my car coolant thermostat error and i was able to diagnose it by my own before my mechanic check it which save more money. before I purchase someone mentioned that this tool doesnt update successfully，but for me update function worked, maybe you should hold the button before you plug into the PC port. Great tool i have ever had.

No Regen on Case Equipment
Bought for my Case 321f wheel loader–I needed to force a regen?? This unit will not do this for Case ! Doesn’t even have a Case listed under the regen mode of options. Junk for me as this is what it was bought for!

I was skeptical but it’s pretty alright.
Bought it to troubleshoot a 2016 John Deere 323e fuel issue. First setup was a pain because it will only see 2.4ghz Wi-Fi. It will not let you use it till you connect and activate it on Wi-Fi. It also does not have a power supply so you have to connect it to the obd2 port to power it on then use your phone wifi if your house wifi doesn’t reach. I was able to get fuel rail pressure and desired fuel rail pressure to see if the sensor was bad. Seemed to be pretty accurate but time will tell. Have not had to use regen option yet. Solid 4/5 for the price considering John Deere service advisor is like $1300 used.

It looked fine and due to it not working for my kenworth and also not working for my track hoe I sent it back. Not they’re fault I should have researched ot more.

This was supposed to be a trial scan tool for our fleet, which should have led to 3 more units purchased. (not going to happen) And so far, it falls on its face for support and interfaces. Cat 9 adapter does not fit the 2024 Cat backhoe and most functions for Heavy trucks does not work. DPF functions are extremely limited, this is a waste of money.

I bought this code reader to decode an alert on my 226b3 Cat skid steer, the unit has the cable that plugs right in and can read the serial number, the hour meter reader but cannot read the codes in the ECM which is my problem therefore it is useless for my machine which is too bad because I liked the unit, very easy to operate, and would be great for my vehicles too but had to send back as it won’t find my issue with my skid steer. I printed off the return slip and packaged it up and dropped off at the post office, later that day the post office went on strike so my Amazon return is in limbo land right now, ( stupid Canada Post).
