This scanner is amazing! I’ve has it for a little over a year now and the amount of money I have saved for my family and friends as well as myself, (most of us have gm vehicles), by being able to perform crank and idle relearn procedures, not to mention it’s ability to connect with every module the car has to provide a more precise diagnosis (rather guessing), had taken so much stress out of my life as a mechanic! It will connect with any OBD-II for just about any vehicle that uses OBD-II to read and clear codes as well as show the live data for many vehicle sensors with graphing and much more! I currently have the code reader with the GM enhanced software, and the best feature this scanner and company offers, is the ability to add the enhanced software of other manufacturers! Enhanced software meaning it will provide a deeper, more in depth scan for that specific manufacturer and performs bi-directional functions that may let you change certain functions on your vehicle! The support is amazing also, and very quick to get back to me whenever I’ve contacted them! Capable entry level scanner
This is a scanner that will get you into the next level of electronic repair. It’s a little clunky, you can’t rapidly traverse menus with the keys because you must press the single shot arrow key and then wait just a second for it to register before you can make another move, the save feature to take snapshots of the events that occur in the OBD2 monitoring chip in your vehicle have to be titled using the same arrow keys and a keyboard that is asking single click move in a direction find a letter press enter type of thing. I purchased it specifically to relearn my crank sensor on my 454. Having solved that project and having problems with my 2007 Ford f150 I’ve been using it as a general OBD2 scanner on that vehicle. It has very accurately identified particular problems in the OBD2 realm. It has live Scan, will read the onboard monitor for all smog related monitoring, and if I can track down the last one or two items as far as the errors go this thing will have saved me thousands. I would suggest if you have a particular model that you buy the thing with the module installed but the module is only going to cover that specific vehicle as far as the extreme end up capability, the OBD2 general level monitor is far beyond anything I’ve ever used before making this a much worthwhile purchase.

Tons of features, great product support, great price
I bought this for my 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 because I had to change my brake position sensor and it needed to be calibrated using this tool. This tool was able to calibrate it and much more, like clear out any pesky codes. It is easy to use as you just need to plug it in to your OBDII port and follow the prompts. There are tons of features so you get tons of value for your money, which is a double edged sword.The only downside is that there are so many features that there are a lot of menus to go thru with sometimes multiple ways to find and fix the codes. If one feature doesn’t seem to fix the problem, you end up trying different methods using other menus. I had trouble at first getting the calibration to work so I had to contact their customer service both thru Amazon and to their product support email listed in the product manual. They responded right away after every one of my messages thru both methods. That tells me they stand behind their product and I understand why b/c their tool has been well worth it.I would recommend this product for both the OBDII scanner features and the GM software.

Do not Purchase
Product does not work as advertised. When attempting to use the tool for relearn of transmission; recalibration of camshaft position and fuel reset the device indicated the function was not available. It is useful for reading OBD and erasing fault codes but nothing further. I would not suggest purchasing this as there are other less expensive OBD scanners that can handle basic OBD duties. A common argument when the reset/relearn features do not work – is to claim the vehicle is not compatible or supportive of that function. This is incorrect, as another scanner was purchased and handled all reset/relearn without issue. It is merely this product that is not sufficient.

In-depth diagnostics and control
Excellent full function scanner. I used this to diagnose and solve a problem with my 2013 Suburban Air Suspension. It runs a little slow on boot up and when accessing all the GM specific modules, but it works! Saved me more than what it would cost for diagnosis at a dealer. It’s more than just a code reader, it will allow you to control/test specific things on the vehicle.
