Usage instructions:

Note:
The OBD2 scanner does not support ABS/airbag codes. It can read and clear check engine information as part of the OBDII system, but cannot be used with non-OBDII systems, including ABS/airbag/oil service lights, etc.

This is fabulous, I have an older vehicle, make sure it will work in a newer vehicle
This code scanner could not be easier to use. It is literally plug and play. It has up down keys so that you can navigate the different choices after reading your code and different functions that you can do even be on code reading. I have zero technical capability when it comes to vehicles, yet I can do this without even reading the instructions. I have an older vehicle it’s 22 years old, and this worked perfectly for my older vehicle definitely check to see if it will work on any newer vehicles. But for what I needed it it was 100% functional, the connectivity was beyond easy, the data was fast and live and the explanations were easy to understand. It read several different codes instantly and without issue. It is so easy to use.

Works great! Just the right size to keep in the glovebox for emergencies, and the cord is nice and thick. It’s a great value for a basic scanner to read codes and try to diagnose problems on your own

Glove box friendly diagnostic tool
Amazingly, this arrived at my home and a day later my wrench light lit up on my dashboard. Conveniently I had a way to test out my new device already knowing that it was my car was trying to tell me. I knew I needed an oil change. Would the device also pick up on that info?Yup. It did. Though the instructional read out directions kind of detracted from the simpleness of the product being lengthy and full of more info than I care to see.I suspect that in an emergency situation this would feel like a worthy tool with its assorted diagnostics and problem solving assessments. Armed with that info would make a roadside assistance call mall thorough for sure. The device is small enough to fit into a glove compartment( along with the instruction guide) and offers a certain level of preparedness to any road trip.I’d recommend this as a worthy tool to your car’s “go-to” bag however make sure you bring your reading glasses to fully take in the explanations it offers.

Super Affordable Super Universal OBD2 Scanner!
Very easy to use, it can quickly read and access fault & error codes. I was able to read live RPM/Load, and view live coolant Temperature readings. I was also able to clear codes and check for emissions readiness. I have successfully used this when looking for a used vehicle for sale. I have scanned Hondas, Toyotas, BMWs, and even Nissans and Chevrolets. I am confident this will allow me to diagnose any domestic or foreign OBD2 complaint vehicle quickly. This Scanner does not need any updates, and for under $15, this is the most affordable OBD2 Scanner I have ever used.I only wish it came in other colors, aside from yellow. Maybe a high visibility green, shop blue, and or emergency red. The minimal logo use is appreciated.

Solid OBD2 Reader. Performed well and provides a lot of info and resets codes as well
Device works great. I was able to run through all of the functions of the device. I can read and reset codes, do live readings of engine and vehicle data. Some readings are real-time like speed, water temp., etc. Your results will depend on your specific vehicle. I tested it in a 2025 Ford Maverick. It read the VIN along with all the functions listed in the manual. I think if you want a good basic OBD2 reader than this is the one. It is very reasonably priced and it covers all the bases. It is of good construction, the cable is thick and the plug fits well into my vehicles port. I am not a mechanic so cannot comment on advanced features and those I know nothing about. This is a good diagnostic tool that would allow you to know the codes your vehicle is throwing before bringing it to the mechanic, or maybe even trying to fix it yourself.
