Nice little machine doing its thing!!
So far so good!! The size fits perfect in the husband’s hand. It was easy to use. The codes came up quickly on what was wrong. He was able to read the codes clearly and fix the problem. Being able to turn off the check engine light was a plus. Time will tell on if it will hold up and continue to perform as needed. Recommend as it’s better than trying to go to auto parts store when it’s hard to get the vehicle there or to a repair shop that charges.

You are able to see a lot of diagnostic information with this sensor.You can clear the warnings to remove the engine light (not recommended). Works reliably. Even provides live data such as engine temp and rpm and battery voltage.Was easy to use, barely needed additional instructions.

I would give It a 5 but I haven’t had it long enough. I cleared some old multiple codes on one of my cars and now the car runs better? Don’t ask me lol for the price it’s well worth it. It does live scans etc

The “Check Engine” light in my aging Camry came on. I bought this to try to diagnose and fix the problem so the car would pass inspection. Turned out that there really isn’t anything to fix (just a weak gas cap seal), so I reset the code and it passed inspection. The light came on again a couple of months later and I just repeated the process. It’s been several months, now. Easy and cheap way to avoid paying the mechanic several hundred dollars!

Great price and worked when others didn’t
This worked well on my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4 x 4 with the 5.3 L motor. Other cheap OBDII connectors failed to read the ECM, but this one worked immediately. I was able to read the codes and clear them. I don’t know what else this can do. I was just looking for a basic reader and something that could clear the codes. One surprise was that the connector locks onto the port once connected and is a pain in the ass to remove. I actually took a razor blade and cut off the tab that holds it on so I can remove it easier.

This scanner is really made for beginners. It’s very easy to use. It basically tells you the codes and allows you to clear them. It also has an oxygen sensor reader. Worth the money for basic diy guy.

I’ve just used this on my 2.2ltr Vauxhall Astra, which had a check emissions light on, after multiple recent jump starts and a new immobiliser fitment. I can’t believe how easy this tool was to use. Plug it into the port, ran a battery check test, then switched the ignition to start up checks and then started the engine. No issues causing the light and no error codes; I reset the light using this tool. Job done. I then just checked all the other live vehicle data, just out of interest; all running great. This tool has saved me a fortune in time and money already.
