Should be good
I have updated my review from one star to four… It’s not 5 because of the issues I had BUT I was finally contacted by their support team and they assured me that they could have walked me through the issues I had and that it is capable of doing what it’s advertised to do… They have also said that because of the issues I had they are going to work on improving their instructions that come with the unit and they will be changing the way they do holidays to make sure there is always support when you need! I’m happy with their service they provided even if it was a little late!Absolute trash! I have a 2020 freightliner cascadia with a dd15 so it’s not new but it’s not old either and it’s the most common truck on the road but the only thing I could get this system to do is pull and clear codes! It gave me an error when I tried to force regen… And I couldn’t find any option to view live data or program the ecm (change speed)… It could only do one thing that it advertised! When I contacted Ancel for support on 2/13/26 they informed me that their staff was out of the office for the Chinese Spring Festival… That’s not supposed to start until the 17th and it goes for 16 DAYS! So getting customer support is ridiculous… By the time they would get back to me my return window would be ending so I just boxed it up and sent it back! Do not waste your time and money on this garbage…

Great Hard shell case with a protective interior..
Great Hard shell case with a protective interior..Just add a few silica packets to keep the moisture controlled and you’ll have a great case to store some meters, testers and leads, or whatever else may need a home.I have a few other Ancel hard shell cases and meters and they all work very well, and this one is no exception…

Hard Case Organizer by ANCEL (sold by Toptool US)
This large hard case organizer is a great travel companion piece or practical storage solution to keep devices safe and in one place.The case is a generous size compared to similar products. At 12.5-inches long, 8.5-inches wide, and 4.75-inches deep, it allows for a variety of versatile uses. I will personally use this case to store the myriad of live-streaming equipment such as adapters, webcams, and cords that otherwise are split into multiple cases.There is a large pocket built into the case, but admitted being so shallow, it won’t hold much without the contents falling out. I will think thicker cables will stay put. The center divider has a pocket as well, where most things will stay inside this one.The main compartment is very large and roomy allowing for a number of devices and uses.While this is a “hard case” it does have quite a bit of give to it, meaning it would not stand up to “crush” damage.Finally, there is a distinct “straight from the factory” smell that hangs around. I’ve let it air out for a few weeks and it won’t go away.Overall I do like this case. It is really convenient for keeping my streaming equipment all together in one case (capture cards, cables, flash drives, etc.) For me, it’s the size that I appreciate most.

Nice durable case
I have many Ancel products and some, like battery analyzers that didn’t come with a case. I use this case for those products. It’s a soft yet hard case that does not deform and protects your electronic goods. Easy to use and a great value for the money. As I mention it’s functional in the sense that you can use it for other Ancel tools. Has a nice soft separator inside so your screens are protected and is water and wear resistant. My stuff gets used a lot and these cases save it from damage. Recommend this!!

I ordered this Ancel hard case organizer to store my NOCO Genius G3500 Smart Multi-Purpose Charger because the cardboard box it’s been stored in for the past decade was being held together with tape. Out of the box, I am impressed with this case – the outer shell feels sturdy and offers the kind of drop and bump protection you’d expect from a heavy-duty EVA shell. The zipper is covered by a protective flap and opens and closes smoothly without catching. The divider cover provides an extra layer of protection to help ensure that any diagnostic tools with an LED/LCD screen do not get damaged.This case measures 12” long x 8” wide x 4-1/2” deep, which is slightly smaller than what is described, but it’s not a dealbreaker. It has more than enough space to hold more than just my battery charger. I still have room to spare for a multimeter after placing the charger in the deep pocket side, and the manual and extra cables in one of the two mesh pockets.The EVA material feels thick, shock-absorbent, and water-resistant, and should hold up well to daily use in a garage or workshop. The non-slip carrying handle is comfortable, and the overall build quality feels durable.At the time of this review, it is very reasonably priced at about $30 for a hard-shell case. It’s a great option for storing and transporting diagnostic tools such as a multimeter, OBD2 scanner, battery booster, or charger. Highly recommended.I received this product through Amazon Vine in exchange for an honest opinion. I hope these comments help you with your decision.

Wow, these guys did a very sneaky trick here and it shows some very underhanded shadiness… Very disappointed in Ancel as I always liked their products…As the other one star Vine guy said, these guys listed this item as a Scanner and had “fine print” afterwards that it was just a case. Okay, well whatever, “I could use a nice case” I thought, after I already hit the order button… I received the product sometime beginning of December, but due to family issues, I wasn’t able to do a lot of reviews for Vine during that month.Now that I am finally catching up, I checked this case over and was about to write an honest review until I noticed they just did a super switcheroo on us! They changed their listing from “just the case” to the actual $1700 scanner!Listen, whoever may be reading this, look at all the 5-star Vine reviews here, with or without the pictures. All of their 5 star reviews is about the case and the case only! They are not about the scanner at all, so don’t trust the review score on this product. These guys cannot be trusted. Very, very disappointing.As far as the case goes that they sent me, it’s great. Very well built. the shell is a nice sturdy hard case and I am able to fit a few of my scanners in it, as it is pretty big. The stitching is nice and it zips up well. I just wish this company was as reliable as this case.

This item is a hardshell case for automotive diagnostic tools and scanners. The case is made of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), and features a single deep bin and two mesh pockets. The EVA material is water- and heat-resistant.The case is very rugged but has little in the way of shock protection. The zipper is solid and opens from either side. One mesh pocket is mounted onto the center flap, and one mesh pocket is mounted inside the lid. There is a handle on the side but it is mounted to the lid hinge, which makes it somewhat off-center when carrying it.On its own the case is sufficient to offer basic protection from elements and crushing. But with a little polyurethane foam it could be customized to fit specific electronics.
